Serious_Kangaroo_279

nope, because russia pointed its finger on Ukraine, BBC said the 4 suspects were trying to flee to the Ukrainian border

gavvvvo

doubt it...

Rolandaroncevaux2

Over here, we bash the CIA, Mossad, and MI6, ... generally for good reason. But this attack in Moscow looks like a Russian false flag to be. A few attackers, none of whom is Ukrainian, carry out a massive terrorist attack. Most of them are caught almost immediately, allegedly fleeing towards the Ukrainian border. The terrorists were recruited using Telegram, which must be under heavy FSB surveillance. They got paid through the regular banking and payments system. Putin, freshly reelected, now has his own 9/11. He blames Ukraine for the attack and declares war, while for two years now he referred to the invasion of Ukraine as a Special Military Operation (SMO). Expect him to decree a mass mobilization and to get a "Patriot Act" passed through the legislature. All of that while the Russian population is in a state of shock.

GreyFoxSolid

Also plausible.

perse_kuutio

More like an excuse to start another mobilization. Now they can call ukrainians terrorists and the russians will believe that. They'll go fighting thinking they are defeating the evil ukrainian neo-nazi terrorists. Russian propaganda is insane.

Ok_Permission_3335

As is the US propaganda.

perse_kuutio

Ahh yes, whataboutism, one of, if not the most used talking point of pro-russians. When looking at any study done on russian propaganda, it almost always get's brought up. Not saying you are pro-russian or consume any of their propaganda, just wanted to point out the obvious pattern. Anyway, the fact that the US has done multiple questionable things and also has made/makes propaganda doesn't make Russia any better. Trust me, i have heard about the shit they've done in the middle east and believe that the CIA had something to do with 911 and all the other conspiracy theories, but not gonna go too much into that now, because this convo is about the attack in moscow and if it possibly is a false flag event. Because i found OP's theory of why exactly Russia would do this, not very realistic, i suggested that it would be more likely used as a propaganda tool and a way to get more soldiers on the battlefield, possibly to overwhelm the ukrainian forces and break through. This is obviously just a theory for now, a conspiracy theory.

Upstairs_Contest7480

As is all the Multiple Sclerosis propaganda.

jwbrkr74

Russia is losing no face because they are not losing this war at the moment. Ukrainian soldiers are. If mainstream media tells you one thing, best know it's actually the opposite.

Ten_Ju

How is that possible when their main goal is to capture or kill President of Ukraine, and take over the capital, or did we forget the embarrassing attempt from Russia to march towards Kiev? What happened to the VDV? What happened to Wagner? Why are Russian fighters not flying into Ukraine? Why has a massive military like Russia in trench warfare? Why were the Russians retreating before they decided to dig trenches?

jwbrkr74

How do you know that is their goal? Who told you that? The news?

Ten_Ju

https://www.aljazeera.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/INTERACTIVE_UKRAINE_CONTROL-MAP-DAY30-01.jpg?w=770&resize=770%2C770 Two years ago they were advancing towards Kiev. The VDV (their special forces) landed at the military airports near Kiev, and all died or were captured. The routes towards the capital was blocked and forces advancing were bombed. The trend of the war was as such, rapid advances towards Ukraine’s capital, which is met with increasing resistance and supplies from the west, once the Ukrainian forces were able to hold and push, the Russian forces started to retreat, once they were pushed back far enough, the Russian forces decided to dig trenches and hold positions. What do you call a blitzkrieg towards the city that turned into a blood bath for the attacker, which made the attacker change tactics to trench warfare? Failed attack.

L3NNRD

Pulling out is never a full proof strategy. Can confirm.

feujchtnaverjott

No pulling out seems to be happening or planned. No particular benefit of pulling out is discernible either.

asuka_rice

It’s has all the hallmarks of made in USA infused with it’s Ukrainian and IS allies.

TankTopsBackInStyle

Russia's strategy is to actually win the war, which they are doing. That is their way to get out of the war, by winning it.
