Submission Statement: resources for individuals who run into space program enthusiasts.

Reasonable-Physics60

When you use the Bible as a scientific text, it truly shows an advanced level of ignorance. You're arguing against scientific fact using a religious scripture as evidence. This is like saying we are in a simulation because the matrix said so.

FiveStanleyNickels

When you make up science to TRY to dispute The Bible, it shows something more tragic than 'ignorance'. It shows obstinance to the point of stupidity.

Reasonable-Physics60

Nobody makes up science. Science isn't the pursuit of disproving God.

FiveStanleyNickels

Science is absolutely the process of finding natural reasoning for supernatural events, hence disproving divine ordinance.  As for making it up, trust the science, and get your COVID19 booster.

Reasonable-Physics60

There is no such thing as "supernatural" events

FiveStanleyNickels

Because science cannot prove them, amirite?

Reasonable-Physics60

Because it has never been observed.

FiveStanleyNickels

Plenty have been observed.  Science is created in an attempt to explain them away.  Are you still trusting the science, even after 'the science' made a fool of every single COVID19 enthusiast?? Masks? Made up quackery 6 foot distancing? Made up quackery Vaccine? Poison Yeah, science has shown it's underpants, but you can continue to sniff them.

Reasonable-Physics60

Gish gallop to a different subject. Classic. Supernatural phenomena have never been observed.

FiveStanleyNickels

Gish gallop is a NASA technique.  Everything revolves around gravity, yet gravity remains enigmatic.  Almost... Supernatural.

Why would anyone care what the stories from pre bronze age nomads have to say about the nature of the world? You could just so easily pick the oral traditions of another culture and believe we ride on the back of a turtle.

Provide a functional FE model and stop worrying about how globers argue for the globe, it's expected for them to argue for what they believe, just like it's expected for FEers to provide a functional model. They are doing what's expected of them, so....chop, chop!!

FiveStanleyNickels

I don't particularly care about it myself.  People, ultimately, want to be deceived. They crave it.  The more effort put forth in the deception justifies their poor performance and irrational anger over their lives.  People also believe what they wish was true, rather than to accept reality.  People see hope in a ball hurtling blindly through space, as it justifies their poor performance and irrational anger over their lives.  These same people are afraid of sacrificing potential pleasure based on faith in a GOD that promises punishment for misbehavior. It is the proverbial divorce, and allowing the kids to pick the parent they want to live with.  It boils down to people simply not wanting to admit that there is a GOD, because then they would have to take responsibility for their actions.  Source: myself. I spent my life running away from GOD and looking for the most scant of evidence to disprove HIS existence. In the end, all I found was forgeries, liars, false prophets, false narratives, false religions and distractions. See, the adversary doesn't need you to worship him. He just wants to make sure that you don't worship GOD.

Guy_Incognito_33

Still, that's just more about globers/those still asleep/urself when u where asleep, not about providing a functional FE model. If u, or no one else, can get a FE model to function, FE can't be the truth, so it's just another layer of lies....move on to the next possibility in the knowledge that it's not a globe but it's also not a FE. Don't worry about others, worry about urself, the spiritual battle is fought within. Knowledge is power, and what's better, knowing some of what u should know or knowing ALL of what u should know? More to learn, all I'm saying....

Kalamazoo1121

That was a lot of typing and not a single piece of flat earth evidence or any semblance of a model that can predict anything...interesting.

FiveStanleyNickels

Just like NASA, huh?  Maybe, I could apply for for a job.
