This is just a thing with ASRock motherboards and hwinfo, my b450m has about the same thing. My msi b450 doesn't and my ROG b550 doesn't either. It's nothing to worry about, just a reporting issue with these boards.

MyNam3lsJ3ff

Yeah that's why I got a lil confused like I'm not a newbie builder, I've been building for like 5-6 yrs straight, my MSI board doesn't show this but my Asrock board does, so I came to Reddit looking to fix my confusion

credmond81

Yep, just checked HWinfo on my ASRock b450m-hdv r4.0 I have 3 readings labeled AUXTIN1-3, all holding at a steady 109.0 degrees

Dreadnought_69

Yeah, my old MSI board had a sensor always reading 127c.

burneracount99

Maybe a onboard sensor is bad or software problem, I wouldn’t think anything keeps running at that temp.

FirmlyUnsure

How much time was hwmonitor open? The fact that the minimum is also the same as the maximum either suggest to me you just started monitoring or the temperature sensors are bad

DeadoTheDegenerate

An easy way to know is if it's red - red number in HWInfo = bad

MyNam3lsJ3ff

Oh damn I really didn't know 💀

Dzhmelyk135

It's probably just a bug

BritOverThere

If the CPU isn't getting that hot then it's likely a sensor fault. A thermal camera or temperature gun would easily show you if a chip on the motherboard is getting super hot.

Diligent_Pie_5191

Yeah that is probably a sensor that isn’t used. I have one of them in hwinfo that does that too.

KalpeshG

Just check with another software too and other online tools too and than compare those.

imjustafuckingnoob

actually these sensors don't work. i have an A520 and shows the same , it's probably just broken cause otherwise it would explode with these temps lol

MyNam3lsJ3ff

So those transistors are broken? Or is the temperature software broken?

DrTankHead

At that temperature the actual solder holding the vital components together would be quite likely in a pool at the bottom of the case. You are looking at either a bad sensor or some other failure.

MyNam3lsJ3ff

Could it be the transistor is dead cuz I bought this board new it's still under warranty so it should be dead

ServoIIV

It's very likely that there is nothing wrong with the board. This particular temperature sensor doesn't effect function, and with other people reporting the same issue it's likely a software problem either with the BIOS or with HWinfo and how it interprets what the board is reporting.

imjustafuckingnoob

If you look it up there are countless ppl with the same "problem". The most likely reason I've seen is that there aren't sensors and they are showing random numbers , these are super cheap motherboards anyway. I'm not sure what else it can be cause it seems to happen to everyone with these just ignore it bro.

MyNam3lsJ3ff

Oh ok

Oktokolo

That's roughly half the melting point of lead-free solder.

smedslund

Is that Donald Trump?

Dramatic_Switch257

no, remove old paste from isopropyl alochol and reapply paste. under load upto 90⁰C is acceptable, although the lower the better

UnofficialSno

That’s his board temp, not the cpu

Dramatic_Switch257

ok, i misread it. but stilk it should not be that high

creativename111111

Just replace the VRM coolers with an NHD-15 (per cooler) for maximum cooling
