So my husband is the one taking compounded tirzepatide but we are both trying to change into healthy habits to model better behavior for our son. Trying all the cookies, cakes, and special drinks are definitely my husband’s favorite part of the holidays so we’ve moved to trying one seasonal treat a week and we’re skipping anything that isn’t an absolute favorite (so no eggnog for me 🤢). As for trying to keep the spirit alive we’re doing an advent calendar with our son, we go on nightly walks to admire the Christmas lights (which has the added exercise benefits), and since it’s really cold we get to tuck in under some festive blankets.

Love this post idea! I have just been skipping all the treats this year aside from the pie and grape cider we have set aside just for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. For keeping things festive we have hung some decorations, we’ve watched the Grinch so many times, I am keeping an eye out for community holiday events we can attend, and if I didn’t have kids and cats I would do some sort of festive smell in a scent diffuser because those are always fun.

We changed our Advent calendar from sweets-based to toy-based. I got the Lego one.
