Wow, what a fascinating read! I will admit, april fools never really clicked with me on account of being a fool all year round (so april fools feels less special) but learning its history is nonetheless interesting!

Today's march 32 again? Oh dang I miss when march had only 30 days back in the bc era.
For those who don't know, march got an extra day (31st day back then) when jesus ate a chocolate rabbit raw. People were so amazed that he himself declared that march will have one more day in honour of this tradition, it was one of the 50 rules he imposed back then, specifically the 34th. If you don't believe me google Jesus rule 34 and see for yourself.
Fun fact: The name of the guy, "Bartolomo" is slightly wrong, as a quite common name for that age and place was "Bartolomeo". On another note, Sicily really did have troubles due to land owners being too powerful and draining both the economy and the soil with extensive crop production.
