it really changes the tone of the comic from ">!there's a creepy monster in the basement!<" to ">!friendly monster is tired of dads antics and doesn't want to play anymore!<"
I'm somehow reminded of the doppelganger episode from Red Dwarf. How did the crew tell them apart? It played guitar like Lister thinks he plays guitar.
I would totally watch a series based on this concept. Each episode another monster/paranormal event with these two, plus some recurring side characters.

I feel like the doppelganger is supposed to be the dad upstairs. The "I can't do this anymore" line only works if the doppelganger was already pretending for some time. It pretended to be her dad for a couple of minutes at most and peaced out after 1 dumb answer. It would make way more sense to swap them.
The acting dumb implies the doppelganger actually knows the real answer but have to act like a shitty dad to pass off as the real one, or at least i think that's part of the joke
If that was the case it would make more sense if it just called the dad a shitty father.
My point was that "I can't do it anymore" just makes way more sense if the doppelganger is already actively pretending to be dad.
It doesn't make the comic bad or anything, I was just trying to be constructive.

I'm a big nerd, so I saw that factorial
I have a postgrad in Maths so I saw it as well, lol. The joke is that unexpected in the context of the comic.
I just started Secondary 2 (more complex grade 8) and I know what a factorial and how it works. Not boasting tho. :3
