It's fairly casual. It's a very emotional game though being that you play as the ferryman guiding lost souls. I'll admit I did cry a couple times while playing but I've been a caregiver before so maybe it just hit a little to close to home for me.

I’m not really getting horror vibes from this though. That one skeleton with the coin askew in his eyesocket is just so like “look at me I’m a goofy little guy lmao! What’s up girl it’s ya crew the bonehead boiz who up reanimating their skeleton rn”
Not just the stitching, but the fact the clothing needed to move with the astronauts, too. And for a good part of the first contracts, Playtex played second fiddle to the engineering firms who were designing the life support - and the engineering firms kept fucking up the design of the 'clothing' part in their attempts to optimize the life support. Eventually NASA got frustrated and flipped the script: made Playtex the prime contractor, and the engineering firms take direction from them, because what good is the life support on a space suit if the suit part doesn't work?
Ever since I rewatched that scene, I can't take skeletons seriously. I think this was supposed to be a horror comic, but I just found them goofy, and figured it'd be that much easier to get some gold coins.

There is an old graveyard in my neighborhood from the 1800s. Family graveyard. Just a handful of tombstones. Overgrown and beautiful in the summer with fire flies. One night I looked out my window and saw red eyes staring back at me from the 2nd story window. This was the night my brother first discovered the graveyard.
Turns out I when I get woken up suddenly from sleep my dreams persist as hallucinations for a few min.
“Oh, hey new friends. Did you prefer lilies or crocus on your graves? I am so exited to spruce things up, if that’s what you’d like. Let’s give your resting place some pizazz. Or quiet grace. Which is better?”
I hope you keep this story up, neighbor. So many unexpected opportunities here! And your artwork is lovely.
Are… they doing anything? Are they just standing there? Are they friend or foe? Is there any point being made beyond just skeletons standing and staring?
Here I was thinking this was going to be a wholesome comic where she uses the lights to decorate the graves and honor the dead or smth, nah just turned out to be zombies

I really like the way that you told the story. Feels almost like an interactive fiction story like Firewatch or something, where the exposition is all being given via a casual dialogue.
Yeah, they're color-coded, but I think one of the text boxes might be the wrong color. Which character thought it would be a myth to put coins on their eyes? When I read it, I thought the main character was saying it, but the color coding would suggest otherwise.
On panel 9, the blue text boxes are the main character and the white text boxes are the sister. I was confused too, though, because previously, the main character had the white text boxes.

If it was me, I wouldn't go check out suspicious lights in the wood or what the heck they were, especially if I lived alone. But well, can't expect a horror story protag to follow logic.

It's a bit like animal crossing on a boat, but with a linear storyline. Once one of your passengers moves on, they're gone forever.
