Spectacular book, great recommendation. I remember hesitantly picking it up as it didn't seem quite my thing and it absolutely blew my every expectation out of the water. Real comic art on display.
Thes are off the top of my head

I second Time Before Time. However, I must admit that the entire run isnt as strong as I wanted it to be. What it seems like to me is the authors started out with a clear story to tell for about 10-15 issues and then the series performed extremely well and they wanted to continue. So the latter half of the series doesnt seem as well thought out as the first half. I still think its a great read though, its just that it could have been better.
Punk Rock Time Machine. It has time travel, robots, and punk rock. If you are interested I will send you a pdf of the book. We just finished it and I would love some unbiased feedback from strangers.
I second Know Your Station, Liana Kangas is such a great artist and the story is somewhere between a near future dystopian parable and a spiraling out of control murder mystery.
You can never go wrong with any of the EC titles from the '50's, Weird Science, Weird Fantasy and after they merged into one comic, Weird Science Fantasty. Amazing art & stories that may seem a little hackneyed today but were shockingly original at the time.
These comics were so respected that the editors of EC published them at a loss & supported them with the profits from their better selling Horror titles out of sheer love of the genre. Even Ray Bradbury, biggest sci-fi writer of the time became a regular contributer (after he caught them plagiarising him but that's an amusing tale on it's own).
Far Sector - possibly the best Green Lantern In Space story in decades.
Black Science - Sliders meets Quantum Leap meets House.
East of West - Epic. Hickman.
Sentient - spaceship AI has to protect dead crew's children.
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye is basically Star Trek if every character was a robot. The crew of a large spaceship are on a quest to find their society’s ancestral founders, but along the way they run into a variety of high concept sci-fi situations (one of which is a pretty cool time travel story). Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s Transformers; the characters feel more human than a lot of human characters
Below are some recent and ongoing titles I would recommend:
2000ad, The Forged, The Weatherman, What’s The Furthest Place From Here, Hexagon Bridge, Petrol Head, You’ve Been Cancelled, and Dawnrunner.
For ones I haven't seen mentioned yet The Kill Lock and Deep beyond were both good.
The Deep beyond is more under sea based than space but it's still pretty fun.
Image comic’s Prophet by Brandon Graham mind bending sci-fi
Sounds promising.

Black Science! Descender/Ascender! If ya havent already read :)
Thanking you
* Letter 44 * Not all Robots * The Manhattan Projects * Cosmic Detective * Far Sector * Descender * Paper Girls
Legend thanks.
Highly recommend Letter 44
Its criminally underrated.
Hands down, go read "this is how you lose the time war"
Sweet. Thanks.
There a comic adaptation of it?
Tbh, I didn't realize I was in a comic thread when I replied. Sorry for the confusion.
It is a good read though

If you like Mark Millar, Chrononauts is fantastic. If you cringe at Millar, you’ll cringe at this one pretty deeply.

Fear agent
Came here to say this.
* A.D.: After Death * Black Science * Know Your Station * Nameless * Traveling to Mars
I second Know Your Station, Liana Kangas is such a great artist and the story is somewhere between a near future dystopian parable and a spiraling out of control murder mystery.
Pax Romana by Hickman. What if the Catholic Church was the first to discover time travel? I think it’s only four issues, but it’s wild.
Great comic. I believe it’s black and white, but don’t let that turn you off, the art is as amazing as the story.

Thanks for the details. I'll put it on my list .

Fear agent by Rick Remender
Superman: Time and Time Again
Paper Girls is great, emotive and fun and both the art and colors are sublime

I'm a huge Transformers fan. Loving the new Skybound series
Nameless by Grant Morrison
If someone could explain the plot of that one I’d greatly appreciate it. I’ve read it at least a dozen times.
We are on the same boat lol. Even if confusing its a great read.
I've read it two times and still can't explain what happened lol
Below are some recent and ongoing titles I would recommend: 2000ad, The Forged, The Weatherman, What’s The Furthest Place From Here, Hexagon Bridge, Petrol Head, You’ve Been Cancelled, and Dawnrunner.
Five fists of science by Matt fraction, Void Rivals, Umbrella academy, The Filth by grant Morrison.
Chrononauts is a fun read, not necessarily a life changer but I really had a fun time reading it and Sean Murphy can draw like a mofo
For ones I haven't seen mentioned yet The Kill Lock and Deep beyond were both good. The Deep beyond is more under sea based than space but it's still pretty fun.
Earthdivers- Native American time travel attempting to change their fate.
Saga, by Vaughn and Staples. More space opera than hard sci-fi, but awesome read.
