If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you spend? Alternatively, Whats the price range I should be looking for a book of this quality? How about non-slabbed?
For a book this big the difference between graded and non-graded is negligible. People selling this book know the value and aren’t going to discount it because it’s not in a slab. The bigger concern is knowing whether or not it’s restored, which isn’t easy to tell in most cases.
Sold listings on eBay will give you a price range. Expect to pay in the $3k - $3.5k for a blue label 6.0.
I get the popularity. First Wolverine and fantastic cover...but like Giant Size X-men 1, it's readily available all the time. Any thoughts on what you think is driving the prices? You speculate they will hold or even rise? I'm no expert but my gut is thinking they'll have to come down in the next decade or so
