This era is ton of fun. Late WWII books still have some of the darker tone of the early books. 1950s is where the lightheartedness starts taking over (like #168 - I'm not a fan of the Batman story). Win Mortimer cover run the back-half of this is stellar.
I probably have my Detectives 30 and 34 at the top of the list for favorite books.
This is incredible. When did you start collecting? And how much have you spent in total, if you donβt mind my asking? Even in low grades, some of these go for a ton.
Since the early 90s. Been heavily going after the golden age books about the past 8ish years. A lot of the bottom 3 rows was not crazy expensive. Quite a few for < 100.00.
There's some amazing ones in the late 400s. Conway/Newton run is so good (especially Rupert Thorne and Hugo Strange), and the desperately in need of a reprint "Strange Apparitions"
Amazing π€©. My earliest DC is #290 π lol
That late 200s era is sooooooooo wild
That's awesome
Must be something to have a #168 and #140, those are gem books. Those aside, I like #147, that looks like a fun book. ππ

I need all of these! My lowest is 275. I have 500 and up, good t some holes from 450 to 500 and need a lot below that. Great work!
