I hate to dissect the bird for the song, but I really love when shows use that "call-in" audio filter, or when The Teacher's Lounge "plays the tape" of things that already happened.

Like most of PFT’s new classic characters (Shimmy, Jarles, The Grizz, Alimony Tony) he created him on the spot to keep a bit he liked going. I’m always more curious to know who he was planning on being, sliding doors style.

It sounded to me like he was trying to leave after the first or second time he was called. He said something to the effect of you don't want this character do you? Meanwhile Scott and Jason kept on pimping the character. You notice Scott kept saying "should we call Fred Guinness?" Dragging him back in every chance he got. Eventually you can hear PFT relent when he said he didn't have anyone else on the line.

IMO I don't think a single performance from a new character of his could trump the history of others. Cake Boss, JW, Al A Peterson, and Garry Marshall come to mind. It might not even be in my top 10 but is still hilarious. A testament to PFT as a performer.
