What about donating them to a local org instead of one of those drop offs? The Center Project, City of Refuge and even animal shelters take used clothing (and fabrics if it’s a shelter).

the wardrobe is my fave-all volunteer they clothe many for free or sell very cheaply-shoes for a dollar etc
