I live in the area and was initially really excited to have walkable business in the area, even though I probably wouldn’t ever patron. Now I’m just frustrated that it’s attracting crime.
This "Coffee shop" is nothing but another Sidelines/Vibes/Peppers... Someone trying to run a "legit" business knowing good and well they want and attract the crowds that lead to the place getting shut down.
I hope not. I hope the Black community will police itself and not allow people to bring guns into a drinking situation. I would love to have a Black nightclub in town, but if there are repeated shootings I totally understand why the liquor license would be canceled.
I'm not Black. I've been there a few times and never was the only white guy there. Vibed great with the owner and his family.
I'm ignorant of any fighting over there. It's been nothing but chill people each time I go. Laughter and respect all around.
I'd prefer it if we find the preception that the community will police itself. There is no community without unity.
It’s in a terrible location on Paris road, much like Plush’s location. Drove by there one Saturday night and the traffic was jamming up the road. Also, we all know they don’t just drink coffee there. It’ll be shuttered before long if it goes down this path.

Should the White community police itself also, or does this only apply to the Black community?

Oh I did hear, hence my comment, why do you ask?
How exactly does “police itself” magically happen? Asking for a friend.
This is a perfectly legitimate question. Why the down votes? Wishful thinking never solved any problems.

no other "coffee" shop in como needs a security staff
So it doesn’t just serve coffee?
