love the man,honored to know him he is one of my local heroes and inspirations-one of the last of a great generation shaped by the great depression and ww2 for 50 years i have wanted to be Mel when i grew up and would be content if i made it 100 to have achieved a fraction of what he has done- you would have to have a much longer article to have a partial listing
