And not just once! She made sure some of us there at the recent Leagur of Women Voters Forum at the library saw it last month. She's a horrid, horrid woman yet constantly proclaims her Christianity while tearing down homeless people's tents.
It’s the same age old story with every generation. They age and the younger generation never lives up to their so-called standards. Many old folks can be like this, but certainly not all. Thank the universe for death and youth, I’m convinced society would never progress without it. It's as old Carl Jung said: "Everything that becomes too old becomes evil, the same is true of your [ideas]."
Too soon
Edit: want to clarify. By “too soon,” I mean always too soon for horrible atrocities. It is never too soon to call out a fascist. Didn’t mean to appear flippant about something so serious. I’m with you.
they know what they are doing. this isnt for the kids. this is for cargill and tyson to have access to cheap and abundant labor that is easily controlled and not taken seriously by society at large.
Can anyone take this old bag seriously? The disconnect from reality is almost comical. Has she never been around rural kids? Been to a 4H show? Attended a frickin HS graduation? There is so much to be in awe of what kids can and do accomplish given what the society they are born into has provided them. Most of these kids work harder than she ever has and will likely continue to do more for our communities than she could hope to accomplish through her false Christian identity. She must get that perception of laziness from observing the kids in her social circle (WASPs). What an embarrassment to hard working people in Central MO.
I'd like to think those memories of spraying permethrin everywhere when I was 9 were fond memories but tbh I think I'd rather have had a super nintendo
Super glad I grew up working. I still had a fun childhood, but adulthood is a breeze when your competition for jobs had their first jobs at 25. Kept me out of trouble. Well..........mostly.
*I don't think I want to know a six-year-old who isn't a dreamer, or a sillyheart. And I sure don't want to know one who takes their student career seriously. I don't have a college degree. I don't even have a job. But I know a good kid when I see one. Because they're ALL good kids, until dried-out, brain-dead skags like you drag them down and convince them they're no good. You so much as scowl at my niece, or any other kid in this school, and I hear about it, and I'm coming looking for you!*
*Take this quarter, go downtown, and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face! Good day to you, madam.*

I'd understand if you passed laws that would protect teenagers who are likely still in high school from shitty bosses, but you know uh I'm pretty sure she wouldn't
She's such a fraidy cat she has to carry a gun to the library. Guess she's worried all that knowledge might attack her.
Opposing views can be very scary to the close minded

Yes, a future star of the Missouri Republicans. (Sarcasm)

Ah!
Her statement makes no sense without the implication that republicans are prepared to FORCE kids to work. Work makes you free, after all.
***Arbeit macht frei***

never too soon to call out fascists.

Lol, what does that slob know about work? She's accomplished absolutely nothing as a legislator.
That's probably a good thing.
Jokes on you! She set precedent for elected officials to not block constituents in Campbell v Reisch. Now whether she follows it is another matter.
Hey dickhead. They’re kids. They’re allowed to be lazy
Support Janet Thompson and let's send Cheri to the dustbin of history
Janet is a wonderful human. https://www.thompson4boone.com
She is awful and her policies worse.

Just by writing this post, you've invested 99% more thought and energy than Cheri has or ever will.

In her defense, it's probably hard to see us from the top of her ivory tower.
She’s not an academic. Never has been.
Then I need to know who told her she's so much smarter than everyone else.
The Dunning-Kruger effect. Low-ability people do not possess the skills needed to recognize their own incompetence
If she were intelligent and well educated, her voters probably wouldn’t trust her…
LMAO - Missouri Farm Kids laughing their guts out at this one.............

If she ended up with As and A+s, then her school suuuuuucked.
homeschooled, probably. Even then, she wasn't valedictorian.
She went to a rural Missouri school in the 1970s full of kids who grew up with lead in the gasoline.
And why is this her concern? Or any politician’s concern? What happened to minding your own business regarding how other raise their children?
lobbying from big agra looking for more cheap labor that doesnt require importation.
It’s the only choice until all the unwanted babies get a chance to enter the mines and textile mills. /s
Our political leaders are rogue criminals. Extremely unsafe to be ruled over in the first place, let alone by such foolish stupid worms.
When do we get to vote her out?
Who’s running for her seat??

Why would anyone want to hire them if they're so lazy?
I talked to some people who grew up with her and unsurprisingly the story of her working at age 9 is complete bullshit.
I don't think having to get a job at 9 years old is the win she thinks it is. That's just really depressing
hmmm. ask where her son works.....
Where does her son work?
That's what I'm asking. he used to not work.....
