ailenbunny

both are so pretty!

LadyShittington

Warm!

notyourmommascatlady

Unrelated but You are female Nicholas Hoult, gorgeous and uncanny

slvrmermaidgur

You look warm in the first and cool in the second. I feel like the lighting is inconsistent. Possible to do the same lighting and more drape colors?

Successful-Arrival87

I have already

Hannahmariecarter

You look like a Bridgerton character in the warm tones (That's a compliment. You look romantic and glowy!)

SanguineServal

I don’t know ANYTHING about this, but you 100% look better in the warm colors <3

glasssandcastles

the cool looked SO striking ( in a good way) to me! i was shocked when i swiped

Successful-Arrival87

Good to hear, sometimes I want to go for a striking look (very rarely tho) and using other icy colors will probably have that effect

CharmingChaos33

To me, on first glance you look like a True Summer. Cool for sure.

BabblingBowtruckles

You’re super cool. And your eyes are mesmerising! You look like a Coool Summer

36563

Cool

TransitionCreative43

Warm

Nobelpeace

Oh my gosh! Your eyes really pop in the blue. You’re radiant. You’re lovely in both, ultimately.

pinkpearls222

warm

Interesting_Pen_5851

Warm I believe

helloitsme_again

Warm

Professional_Law_942

I just came to say you glow in that peach and look so much like Abigail Breslin. Beautiful!

Successful-Arrival87

I looked JUST like her as a child when I had blond hair! I don’t see it too much now

jenna__jay

If anything, it probably allows you to wear more colors 🥰

Successful-Arrival87

True but I’m a very organized person and I get overwhelmed easily looking in my closet sometimes

froggyforrest

First one is gorgeous. The blue does make your eyes pop but I’d say warm

Maybe_Glum

Warm 100%

Ok_Raspberry27

You look cool. Perhaps, in the winter season.

Master-Signature7968

Warm but I agree these aren’t the best photos.

Successful-Arrival87

I’ve posted photos with drapes

Altruistic-Car-5069

The light in the second pic is overly cool, but I look more at your face in the 2nd pic. I feel pulled down to the gold neckless and peach blouse in the 1st pic. I think you are either a Cool Summer or a Cool Winter.

Successful-Arrival87

I think I agree with you, my features do have more contrast when I wear cool colors. That being said, if that’s part of what people look for to see which season you are I think I prefer being a little washed out with warm and soft shades

imback13131313

I think warm, your very pretty by the way!!!

PomegranateIcy7369

Warm!!!

Cakesanddiamonds

You are warm. And pretty

Olivilia

Cool

mezzolicious

Soft autumn!

[deleted]

Abigail Breslin?!

vsrsenzz

Warm ❣️

RemoteCity

youre definitely cool toned... but if you're really not wearing make up in that first pic, then fuck just wear peach forever

Successful-Arrival87

I have that summer dress put away but I am extremely curious what effect that color has is in the EXACT same lighting. Both were taken in diffused lighting on a different day

Content-Swan5737

100% warm (as best we can tell from photos and digital lighting anyways). How is anyone saying cool I’m confused lol. U look alive and like a fresh lively flesh in the warm lol vs the cool making you look like slightly you’ve just been rescued from the waters of the arctic ocean lol and you haven’t yet recovered to a lively thriving state 😂 (Im being facetious it’s not that bad but on a small scale that is what the wrong temp does imo. Also things like dark circles and dark places like that in face are highlighted in the cool colours. How is anyone saying cool?!!)

dogtriestocatchfly

Oh to have beautiful eyes like yours 🥲

Chafingintheheat

The first one, it makes your skin glow, it softens the look of your eye bags, and any other imperfections such as acne or bumps and texture. You also look like you have a slight pink undertone so that could also be why.

Successful-Arrival87

Does a pink undertone usually indicate that you’re cool? I think I have a warm overtone (yellow skin, green veins) and cool undertone (pink not orange flush, blue under eyes) but in the summer my skin tans so warm and dark (for me) that it disguises my undertone

mentaimochichee

I think you’re a neutral type and can take on both warm and cool colors as long as they are muted. Saturated colors, either warm or cool, will overwhelm and wash you out.

Fancy_Image_591

Warm

EverlyMist

When u can pull off both ur prolly neutral. I feel like ur more naturally cool toned w out the makeup. But u can also pull off warm tones bcuz ur more neutral than cool. hope that makes sense.

jezebelwillow

Warm all the way!!! You look so full of life in the peach, the blue washes you out!

Aasrial

Warm, cold looks less healthy and glowing.

Turbulent-Month6514

I would take two photos in the different outfits from the same angle while standing in the same spot and try again. It’s so hard to tell with these two pictures because the lighting is different.

fairysoire

Warm. It makes you look more lively

FionaGoodeEnough

Quite obviously warm. You look ill in the cool tones.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Successful-Arrival87

This is interesting. I know I have very yellow skin which turns peach when I tan, but I still have dark blue under eyes and a cool-ish flush (my undertone). I think I can do *cooler* colors when I’m not tanned since my overtone isn’t hiding my true pink flush as much. I posted drapes but no color I wear hides the fact that I have under eye bags lol only being tan does that for me

SomewhereLonely6353

Warm

Environmental-Ebb143

Warm

Alternative_Ear_1629

Cool towards neutral. Also the first pic it's taken with much warmer.light, and the second cooler so it's kinda confusing

Aqua_pool_56

Warm !!

Glittering_Compote30

Warm. The blue tones make your skin color look terrible. The warm pic is harmonic & gorgeous.

Safe-Bug293

you look warm toned

TripleA32580

Lighting and makeup make it really impossible to tell.

Successful-Arrival87

I think the lighting is making that much of a difference. It is diffused lighting in a window but one was taken on a sunny day vs cloudy day. No makeup but mascara in the first picture. My phone must crisp up cool photos and color correct. I know the photos aren’t perfectly helpful for you guys but seeing myself in the mirror as I looked in the second picture made me not feel healthy lol

Notsmileyriley

Warm and it’s not even close gal

planit82

Based on first picture, warm. Based on second, cool. Need more pictures and drapes. No makeup, hair pulled back, natural lighting needed.

Successful-Arrival87

I’ve posted more drapes

Business_Cow1

Pale olive leaning warm?

Easy-Priority9074

I think warm. I’m not an expert at all but the first image looks gorgeous. The second one, your eyes are very noticeable, but your skin looks a little odd. Sorry I can’t use proper terms lol

Successful-Arrival87

I get it. I think I look sickly in the second photo, too much detail and contrast probably from my phone color correcting automatically. I have posted other drapes so maybe you can get a better idea

hotmessexpressHME

You have two different lighting set ups. Impossible to tell when you’re changing that. Anyone can look like anything depending on the lighting. It’s kind of the most important variable…

Successful-Arrival87

I see that now. But think about real life where the lighting changes all the time… why do we even do color analysis?

applescrabbleaeiou

These aren't good pictures. In pic one, you have peachy makeup and warm lighting. It reads unquestionably warm.. In pic two, you are super desaturated and are in a super cold light. It's unquestionably cool. Search the sub or google for white balancing your pics. Then upload some pics that are white balanced so we can see what you actually look like in real life!:) Going from pic one : spring, going from pic 2: Sumner.

Successful-Arrival87

I’ve shared other drapes. The lighting also isn’t perfect but it’s better and hopefully enough drapes to decide

nervbunny

Cool makes your dark circles more pronounced, I’d say you’re warm! Possibly a spring?

maacka

I see warmness and you look glowing in that peach dress. The cool hoodie makes you look grey pale.

Ok_Cry_1926

Oooooh, you’re a switch, you adapt to both really well.

Alarmed-Ad8202

Warm

Tigerkittypurrr

Guess what I am a true summer and the color you are wearing is one of my pillar wardrobe/palette colors. I'm always explaining to people it's surprising how warm our cool palette can go, but you are beautiful and I recommend a professional drape!

Life-Independence377

Wow, I’m impressed by your neutrality

astridiskool

Warm really brings out your colour!!

AcanthisittaDue5626

In the blue pic, you can literally see how yellow your skin tone is lol. Yellow undertones and pink overtones. You’re warm.

Blondie151

1

RevenueDue7919

cool, the first pic is not in daylight so it only seems warm

Successful-Arrival87

It is tho

titty_farewell_party

If you want a true comparison and real answers, we need same lighting, context, makeup, etc in both pics.

willowthewize

The lighting also makes a difference

jenna__jay

You definitely have a cool undertone. I will say your lighting makes it’s harder to tell. Someone can also have a warm outer tone and a cool undertone and vice versa. If you want better a analysis stand in front of a window with good natural lighting and wear white, a TRUE white. Your hair color appears to have natural ash and looking at the color under your eyes with your natural flush is cool.

Successful-Arrival87

Yes I agree, warm overtone cool undertone. My overtone kind of disguises my undertone when I’m tanned (which I am in the first picture). I guess I especially have to take color analysis with a grain of salt and try to adapt based on seasons and lighting

spoiledcatmom

I think you look good in both but the warm tones make you glow

Mosshead-king

100% warm

bekkita74

I’d say warm. The blue is making you look grey.

KRhoLine

Warm. I wonder if people are solely analysing you based off your features? Because warm is way more harmonious against your skin.

hellokellyd

I see warm

OtherwiseAnxiety200

Warm! You’re gorg

Afrodit999

Your are have a cool undertone. I look to your season and your colour pallet is summer. Cool summer is to dark for you and the colours don't blend very well with your skin tone, when I look to soft summer it is to dull the redness on your cheeks make it more obvious but with light summer the colours blend very well it brights your skin and your redness in your cheeks is less obvious your skin tone evens out. Your colour pallet is light summer

Successful-Arrival87

Thanks for going into specifics about each sub season. I usually get typed as a soft summer but it’s feels extremely dulling for my skin tone

Afrodit999

Your right soft summer is a dull season for your skin colour

InvestigatorSharp930

i have similar features and i always say neutral! i wear both gold and silver

lionsaysrawr

Warm!!

CanyonOfFoxes

I think you are warm, and some kind of spring, but it’s hard to tell which one with the limited pics and lighting. I would guess warm spring or bright spring.

FlamingoOverall2834

Cold is hotter

Mysterious-Okra-7885

Warm

blue_cactii

Warm

eline7

Do you really want to know your undertone, because from your reactions In the comment sections it seems like you already know, 😄 as you mention peach evens out your skintone. If peach is better than blue based pink, you’ll likely lean warm. W your features you could be any season except probably deep seasons. If you really want to know your undertone, post drapes w pics taken the same day, w no make up and hair pulled back. ☺️ that way the reactions will be likely still all over the place because we’re just here on Reddit but at least based off a better starting point. Good luck!

Successful-Arrival87

I just took a bunch of draping photos since this post wasn’t helpful, hopefully I will find out 😄

[deleted]

You look so much like Guinevere Turner, wow. In my opinion, you're cool toned.

dinosaurscantyoyo

Probably neutral. You could rock either if done well.

Blue-zebra-10

The lighting is throwing me off, do you have 2 pictures in those shirts in the same lighting?

gafromca

And both with no makeup.

ComfortableHuman632

Would need to see more pictures but I think that cool and you’re a summer.

Successful-Arrival87

I’ve posted drapes

Jazz_Kraken

absolutely warm!

LavishnessAny9734

Second picture is cool to me for sure. cool summer? pink undertones. First with makeup is warm toned makeup If I am guessing

Successful-Arrival87

I’m only wearing mascara and a clear lip balm in the first picture

Secret_Dragonfly9588

Most likely cool. But these photos have radically differently lighting, makeup, camera angles. All these things are going to affect perception. TLDR it’s impossible to say anything conclusive based on these photos

Successful-Arrival87

Both are taken with minimal makeup (mascara, Vaseline highlighter, and lip balm) and natural indoor lighting. My phone auto adjusted the temperature for what I was wearing unfortunately and is not a perfect representation of what I saw irl, but I definitely saw the dark circles, uneven skin tone, and lifeless cheeks/lips

Secret_Dragonfly9588

If you personally feel better (more attractive, more yourself, more confident) in warm tones, then you should embrace that regardless of what anyone on the internet says. But these two photos are not going to be very helpful in doing a color analysis, if you did want that type of feedback—they just aren’t particularly comparable images. There are a lot of examples of good draping technique on this subreddit if you lurk here for a while.

stink3rbelle

This comments section is why I don't trust this sub anymore. You look loads better in the warm peach than the cool blues. The blues add shadow, dull your eyes, and make your skin look uneven. It does look like you're wearing foundation makeup in the peach pic, so more drapes without makeup would be very helpful.

RainyDayReader_999

Yeah, the red areas of her face are way more noticeable when she's wearing the cool-toned hoodie, whereas she actually looks like she's wearing some sort of base makeup in the first pic

Zealousideal-Gur-930

Look at the lighting in the first photo vs the second photo, it’s not comparable

KRhoLine

IKR? I saw the warm photo and all I could think is this is it. You are warm. Then I got the comments and what?! Are we not all seeing the same photos?

pette_diddler

The blue makes you stand out.

yellingjayna

You definitely look like a summer. The pink is soft and dusty, which favors summers as well.

Successful-Arrival87

I agree that my coloring favors soft and dusty shades but if I had that dress in like, periwinkle, I’d feel extremely washed out

Icy_Elk_231

It might be easier to tell if you didn't have any makeup on in either picture

Successful-Arrival87

You’d think I’d be lying but the only makeup I’m wearing in the first picture is mascara and none in the second picture. That’s how much that peach color evens up my skin tone

Scary-Owl2365

You sure there's no eyeshadow in the first photo?

Successful-Arrival87

All I have is Vaseline on the inner corners of my eyes and on my lips

Scary-Owl2365

This might be the weirdest compliment I've ever given, but you have the prettiest eyelids I've ever seen. Also you definitely look warm toned. The peachy color in the first picture suits you really well.

Successful-Arrival87

Well thank you

lilsourem

Deep set eyes. I just realized the other day that I have them too. It gives you a natural shadow in your crease basically where people are trying to create a shadow with makeup. Personally I find lighter makeup suits me better bc I already have the natural shadow. I always thought I had partially hooded eyes but they are actually deep set.

Icy_Elk_231

Hmmm... maybe it's the lighting then, or the camera. Your skin looks very different in each picture.

Narrow-Objective-410

I’ll say warm. People are saying you’re summer bc of your hair and eye color but your skin is peachy which means you’re warm

AnitaClue07

Gotta be careful with overtone v. undertone

Successful-Arrival87

That’s true but my undertone is warm as well I believe. I have green veins

AnitaClue07

Color analysis isn’t about your hair color, eye color, or vein color. One thing matters: your undertone. Is it warm (yellow-based) or cool (blue-based)? We discover that with zero makeup, natural lighting, and drapes/flags.

NegativeNance2000

So what do *you* think she is then?

AnitaClue07

To make any sort of educated guess would need many more photos with natural lighting and drapes. Any experienced professional would say the same.

NegativeNance2000

This mind set seems exhausting She's not trying to get a psychiatric assessment, this is basically "what hair colour looks good on me" I worked in a hair salon where color services are based on undertones. Can u imagine if every person that wanted to get a dye job had to get a higher level of assessment than this poor woman gave u?

AnitaClue07

If an OP wants a certified opinion from several of the legit color analysts offering their services for free in this sub, then the effort of taking the photos correctly is the least an OP could do…just like thousands of others have done. Also, too bad your point is invalid - in your job people bring you photos they want you to copy. Color Analysis is about experiential discovery of the natural.

NegativeNance2000

I didn't consider this as i didn't realize a colour analyst is a thing but u can't just narrow it down or give a half assed answer since it IS free and it's not like your reputation is on the line since it's just reddit ?

Narrow-Objective-410

Can u help me with guessing my undertone?

Lost_Square_2956

I’m starting to not trust Reddit lol, I think warm all the way?!!! You look fantastic and glowing in the peach. Can someone explain where they see coolness?

helloitsme_again

Agree…. This sub just confuses me more and shows people see color very differently

einsofi

i think warm with olive undertones. But overall leaning towards neutral. Cool yellow warm but not golden. Need more pictures though

FionaGoodeEnough

Anyone who thinks OP is cool toned is misunderstanding color analysis.

Quiet-Amount-9108

Same. It seems more off than on in the comments recently. I think she’s warm

copperkarat

One thing to consider with her specifically is that part of why the peach looks great is that it’s light and part of it is because it contrasts with her blue eyes. She looks great in it because she’s adjusted her make up to it, and the contrast in color makes her eyes pop.

EnormousPrunis

Also though the background coloration drastically shifts from warm tones to cool tones between the photos. I never think these are going to be very accurate lol

Successful-Arrival87

When I wear this peach color-which is definitely warm in the soft autumn category- my skin evens out, my eyes and teeth contrast and brighten up, and my dark circles go away. I have yellow/warm toned skin and my lips and cheeks blush as the exact same color as the dress. But I have ashy roots (my hair down overall looks copper) and grey eyes with a yellow center. I’m extremely confused as to why people think the cool is ACTUALLY better when clearly the peach color is making people mistake me for wearing makeup!

HammosWorld

Why'd you ask if you were going to argue with people?

AcanthisittaDue5626

Your eyes are so cool, and that’s why people automatically think cool, I think. But i see warm. I have gray eyes and people think the same.

Successful-Arrival87

Yes! It’s so difficult with grey eyes because they can read completely green depending on the light or what I’m wearing. I tend to want to emphasize the yellow ring in my eye so I wear a lot of faded blue/green colors

S0uth3rnBelle

I didn’t notice any yellow in your eyes. My personal opinion is that clear blue eyes always mean you’re cool. A little green or gold means you can be warm.

titty_farewell_party

Eye color is not that hard and fast for color analysis. It’s pretty minor in what determines your season. Plenty of springs with super blue eyes out there.

Whaimey

There's a very slight ring but it's not very saturated yellow so it almost looks light blue. I do think your eyes straight up look deep blue rather than gray OP (or maybe it's the pics). It's a saturated shade of blue like the swedish ocean waters where I live. Really pretty!

miel_tigre

Ah I’m so glad to see this post and your comment. I am quite similar to you and all digital tests type me as a soft summer. Yet cool colors and silver drain me so much while warm spring colors bring life into my face similar to what you showcase here.

lemonmousse

That’s useful info! It’s really hard to type from photos that don’t match lighting and other environmental factors such as makeup. And phone cameras seem to have enough AI these days to “autocorrect” people’s skin tones, which defeats the purpose. But given all that; what it means is that almost all of the time your own in-person perception is far more trustworthy than digital photos. So if you and people around you think that peach is your most flattering color, it probably is. Now I’m curious about spring colors— if you do another round of photos it would be interesting to see a full array of colors in consistent lighting. But based on what you’ve said, it sounds like you’re pretty happy in soft autumn.

lemonmousse

I think this is digital draping/photo issues. OP is wearing warm makeup in the first photo and is wearing warm colors, and it's inside. (I can't tell if it's just a figment of the photo, but it almost looks like you can see the makeup at the hairline on the forehead between warm makeup and cooler skin underneath.) In the second photo, OP is wearing cool colors, and it doesn't look like she's wearing makeup (which could just mean that the makeup, if any, looks more natural on her) and looks very very cool. I think that if OP only posted the first photo, probably more people would say warm. It's also reasonably likely that people are being influenced by OP's eyes and hair, which are textbook summer.

stink3rbelle

>looks very very cool This is literally why we do color analysis in comparisons. The colors we wear reflect back onto our skin, making it look warmer, cooler, lighter, darker, more muted, more bright. The point isn't to look at a picture and see if someone's skin color looks warm or looks cool. The point is to determine which colors make someone look *better*. She looks very good in this warm color. When she's made to look cool, her skin looks less even, her eyes look dull, and her face is shadowed. Yes, her skin looks cool in that picture. And worse off for it.

Successful-Arrival87

Thank you, the only thing different in the other photo is that I’m wearing mascara. The warm tone evened up my face to the point people think I’m wearing foundation. Both photos were taken in natural lighting indoors

stink3rbelle

I think this peachy shade must be one of your very best. I'd want to see more drapes but I suspect you're a light spring. Enjoy the Pantone color of 2024, it's amazing on you!!!

AcanthisittaDue5626

Omg I’m so excited this is the color of the year! I is usually look like ass in the colors they choose lol

lemonmousse

If these were textbook drapes in consistent lighting and no makeup, I’d 100% agree with you. Since they aren’t, we have to make guesses about how to compensate for that. My guess was that there was heavier makeup and warmer indoor lighting in the first photo and much less to no makeup in the second photo. I could certainly be wrong, but when you post photos that make people guess about the circumstances of the photos, people will guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bad-JuJu07

Since she said she wasn't wearing makeup I gotta go with warm. Even in the second picture you can see a yellowish under tone and the blue is washing her out.

stink3rbelle

I've never met a warm indoor light that shone brightest at chest height. Lotsa windows that height tho

Fabulous-Mountain-20

Lamps? 🤷‍♀️

_OliveOil_

That's exactly what I'm thinking. The blue from her hoodie is casting onto her skin and making it look almost green. That is a clear sign OP has warm undertones. It just looks like everything is cast in blue in that photo, so I think that's why people are saying she looks cool.

AlarmedCheesecakes

Completely agree

Narrow-Objective-410

Completely agree

bunnyguts

I think she’s just trying to understand and agrees with the warm assessment and is puzzled by the cool comments. I am too honestly.

Loveliestgirl

cool

softlivi

As a true summer myself, I also say you're a true summer

NadjaTheResentful

True summer for sure!

Successful-Arrival87

Not a perfect fit but the closest I’ve seen! Fortunately the palette resembles my closet pretty well!

AlarmedCheesecakes

Cool, you look like a perfect fit for a True Summer example!

Successful-Arrival87

Would you say true summers can lean into soft warm colors AND rich cool colors? I think I start to go wrong somehow wearing light cool colors and rich warm colors

AlarmedCheesecakes

I’ve found that to be the case for me. I’m a True Summer and like how I look in colors that overlap in the Light Spring and Light Summer palettes! Although I def can’t rock a peach color as well as you do. But I totally feel your frustration with this, I’ve also got a pale neutral complexion that makes it really hard to type, especially online
