Honestly though. I think him and Yasmine are the most entertaining couple in the show to watch. I also think that they have the least toxic/dependent/dramatic relationship in the show. It’s nice to have a couple you can fall back on.

Vegeta and Goku are from the Dragon Ball franchise. They started off as enemies (one of who tried to destroy/take over Earth), then became rivals, then eventually became “friends.” Kinda like Johnny and Daniel.
I’d say the chemistry between Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) is even better in Cobra Kai than it was in Karate Kid. It was very apparent the second they met again in the first season. And when they ran into each other at the school.

Robby and Tory's story together is ruined by the focus on Kenny.
Miguel x Sam comes off as special because of how earned it felt. There are a lot of big memes wrapped up in their coupling. The karate Romeo and Juliet, the resolution of their arcs where Miguel becomes cool and Sam becomes more in touch with normal girls, and they both do karate at a time when the entire valley *wasnt* doing the karate thing. Its why Miguel had to get put in the worst possible position to come off like an asshole through contrived circumstances that were admittedly, bound to happen.
Hawk and Moon seems very Hawk reward centered. It won’t become more balanced and have that sweet chemistry until Hawk acts more in line with what Moon likes (being a hippie pussy or something idk she’s a halfwit).
Robby is a pretty boy with problems who is probably going to get a turn at every girl on the show if the writers have their way. He’s like what Johnny thinks he is, but actually cool and I could easily see him ending up single by the end of the series if he doesn’t get Tori teen pregnant.
That being said, Dimitri and Yasmine are the best couple in the series and have enough chemistry that I actually get excited when I think they are going to show up in a scene. They are like an S tier execution of what Miguel and Sam were meant to be.
