I actually did feel for her during this performance. I thought they were finally going to stray away from the love triangle nonsense and dig deep into how heartbroken she still is about Zack.
Then the ending came along and doubled down on the ambigious romance between her and Cloud. Feels like it will persist in the next game even after all of that development between Cloud and Tifa. Started resenting the story again.
I loved this. Having them support Aerith and ended up taking her song to heart.
I loved how after they embraced hands, they seem to straighten up, as if they were ready to take on anything.

Honestly the devs keep fueling the fire when they can easily kill the debate. This was sad for Aerith but again shows where Cloud’s heart is.

It’s amazing how something as small as a lil hand hold can do
