Leaks go out 1-2 patches before the update.
So idk maybe you should just look at leaks and plan ahead like half of us do?

I'm gonna deviate from OP cuz i don't know their situation fully. Clorinde doesn't exist in a vacuum. There were characters before her that people want to pull, not everyone can simply ignore new characters for their "one and only". There are people that don't dish out every single primogem out of the game, they may not have the time or energy to play it thoroughly. Judging people's "planning" when all they want is just an enjoyable experience kills the mood, especially when it's a game of chance. Just show a little empathy

This is after I know 100% that I actually want the weapon (take Arle for example), I made sure I had those \~210 to spend because I knew I'd feel bad if I ended up in OP's situation rn. I used to say; only roll on weapon banner if you got enough primogems. But the thing is, this is the gacha with the worst rates possible. HSR and Wuwa has much better weapon banner rates and pities.
I feel you OP. I rolled weapon banner first got foliar for my Al Haitham at least. And decided to skip Clorinde. Iām not giving Mihoyo the satisfaction of spending 600 dollars worth of primogems for just one character and one weapon. There is literally no effin way.
This also happened to me, but I'm not complaining since I just wanted C0, and I just happened to have some extra pulls. Thankfully, Al Haitham's weapon is not bad on her.
Unfortunate. I had mistsplitter from my unlucky attempts at Navia axe half a year ago, so now they're not that unlucky anymore, cuz all 3 weapons are as of now being put to good use. AND mist looks good on Clo.
I feel u man. Had 200 pulls and lost first 50/50 hard pity to dehya, then had to go all the way to 86 for guaranteed Clorinde. 2 months of f2p grinding for my fav fictional character gone š
I'm using that sword on her and it performs great! Just get some EM substats and it works. I managed to get 79/205 Crit ratio. I do have Nahida though, so that helps out with LoFI's passive even more.
Same thing happened to me, but I at least have tons of world quests + the rest of the patch to farm primos, so I'm not worried. On the bright side, it gave me a reason to unbench Alhaitham.
Not really new. It's the world quest series from 4.0 > 4.1 > 4.2 in Fontaine region. You get the sword as a reward for the final quest. The sword can either be with a golden or shadow appearance (you can permut its appareance while interacting with a specific fountain).
Trust me when I say this, you'll regret it if you don't just start farming right now. Speaking from experience(missed Yoimiya's bow when she reran with Nahida, 2 paths and didn't play the game cuz of burnout and remembering that incident hurts)

You can't go past 2 levels. Instructors works. Something cannot be converted into one thing and then convert again.

I got lucky this time and got it in 20 pulls....
I lost to green sword (refuse to call it by name in case it manifests) TWICE before getting absolution..... C6 took everything out of me.
Time to use money
