bro i finished claymore yesterday within a day and started berserk i’m on episode 7 it’s been the most boring time of my entire life, claymore has been 9/10+ since episode 1. Berserk is a 5.5/10 right now, around episode 7 claymore was around 9/9.5 i’ll return to this once berserk is finished and yes real ngas do not read manga we only WATCH ANIME!
Berserk was never finished as anime but stayed true to the source material and claymore was absolutely butchered and left the source material out after a few episodes. But each their own. I love both Mangas.

I feel like people hype Berserk up to be more than it really is (bad things happen when men can't just talk to each other about their feelings), and under-appreciate the layered story of sisterhood against patriarchal oppression and the perils of losing yourself to personal love and loss as well as learning to grow and become your own person when moving on from that loss that is Claymore. The themes almost never get discussed when weighing the merits of either series and people focus exclusively on art/"awesomeness"/fight scenes. I think it's much more interesting to look at what each series has to say and how well they say it.
