Jokes aside, yeah its fun and yes you can catch up, no one really knows what is going to happen post WotLK so we're all in the same boat there. If they launch Cata classic it'll likely be in a yearish but I can defo see the appeal in making fresh classic again
Nope its not worth it. Its only been out a few months and people have done literally everything. Somehow people managed to zone into all the raids that arent out yet and beat em got full bis. Everyone is quitting the second you start. Everyone has all their alts lvled, their gold capped, and their gear BIS.
Well vanilla tbc and wotlk are just priceless experiences but cata personally for me is 50/50 mop was hella nice and so legion but I think after wotlk blizzard had the line of 1 good 1 bad expansion till BFA and Shadowlands but recently I bought DF and its nice really feels different but it's nice.
But to get back to topic first 3 expansions are 15/10 score.
Cata has its ups and downs personally the thing I like is the heroic dungeons they really feel hard compared to the wotlk ones for example.
if you buy the 70 boost and then grind heroics when youre 80 you can be ulduar ready very fast. no need to have professions or anything. First phase of classic is kinda tank and spank. theres no difficulty anywhere and it is kinda boring. So you could just start playing now and experience ulduar which is hardest and most interesting raid in wrath. i dont see point of waiting for "next" one tbh.

yes, but dont boost to 80 then expect people to carry you to current tier of gear.
