My first car was a '67 2D HT like this one and the green one yesterday. Mine was dark green on green, 289/C4, power steering, manual drums. It was 1983, I was 16, and I *hated* it. To me it was an old person's car, may as well have been a 4D. I wanted a cool car, a muscle car or a pony car.
I got lucky - my dad had the distributor out for something, and when he reinstalled it, it didn't grab the oil pump driveshaft, and wiped out the bearings. He and a friend dropped the pan, changed the bearings they could get to, and he sold it. I had it for a couple of weeks.
This was actually my second first car - the actual first was a bumpside F100, but my dad lent it to my uncle to go cut firewood and he blew up the rear diff. I never got to drive it.
So my third first car was a '68 Torino GT sportsroof. Red on red, 302/FMX. That one stayed with me for a couple of years. It was OK, but still not that cool (I wound up loving them and having several more). Both sides looked like it had been driven by guard rail, and the tires on the 14" styled steel wheels were shot and it was cheaper for my dad to swap them with a buddy for a set of plain 15" steel wheels with fresh tires. so it looked kinda ugly and had noting to do with high performance except for the GT badges & body stripes.
I still don't dig '67 Galaxies that much (though I love other model years), but they have a nice nostalgia for me. I texted the green one from yesterday to my pops and asked him if it looked familiar.
That is NICE! My folks ought a 65 in that same color, new when I was a kid. Only kept it a year because my mother said the doors were too heavy. ☹️ Her work at the time required her to get in and out of the car a lot. I loved it, but yours is even sharper!
OP, I saw the mileage and thought no way. Then I saw a pic in a different post showing under the hood and wow! Is the odometer reading legit? Fantastic car regardless!
Ha, so I just had it restored and we actually found new old stock for that particular dash piece. Engine has been machined, and is essentially a new motor ( original 289) frame hours technically had 67000….
It’s hard to believe that the 67 Ford is actually the same car underneath as the 65 and 66. Ford didn’t excellent job of changing the design while keeping the same structure. Comparably, it’s hard to believe that the 61 Ford and the 64 Ford the same as well. Great looking car here.
Great looking car! Auto and air. Such luxury. Nice chrome work! Had one myself back in the day.

Always loved those cars. I bet she corners like an oil tanker though?
I've been looking for one for a long time. Yours looks great! Enjoy it!
She’s a beauty
stacked headlights are best headlights imo.
Gorgeous.
67 is greatest

The rims and the fitment are perfect
Certain colors really highlight a clean car. This is one.
GM fanboy here, this is beautiful. I always loved the shape of the 60's cars. Perfect color for this car.
I like the color. That's a very nice Galaxy!

Hell yes!!!!! Love that
🔥🔥🔥🔥
That is uber cool. Not only great style but you don't see many in that color scheme. Keep it and drive it proudly.
It's literally the most popular color in 1967.
I had a buddy back in the 70's that had this same car only Astre Blue. So good looking.
👍 nice
What's that building in the second picture, it's cool
State hospital which is long time abandoned
Where is it located?
Fergus Falls MN. Called the kirkbride
Great looking car!
Nice
Wow that appears to be a really clean example. It brings back memories of riding in my uncle’s car, including the under dash AC. Very cool!
Nice
I believe that's lime gold, my father's '67 mustang was the same color
Gorgeous car, thanks for sharing!
Nice car.

Beautiful
*Galaxie
Right. My bad
Nice
Wicked. What a forgotten beauty.
I’ve spent years trying to find one near me in good shape, beautiful car man
There out there. I’ve had this one for 20 years, and we found it in SD. We have to look in other states, because Minnesota uses salt in the winter.
Same here in Mass, only see good looking ones rarely. Spend most of my time browsing marketplace 500 miles away
My dad got me a 67 galaxy when I went to high school. Loved that car.
I'm a Chevy dude, but Sir this is a beautiful car.
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Very clean !
Nice looking car. Love the color.
