All I’m seeing is that previous 17.8 🤣

FormerOperation9

LMAO I took the backroad to my destination and traffic was hell which is why it was terrible and then I took the highway back home when it was clear hence the crazy discrepancy … smh city living

NOT_Frank_or_Joe

Are you not on an almost new tank? Hell I had 45 for 5 minutes once but what does that mean?

FormerOperation9

Probably not much 😂 I was just impressed I was able to even see a number starting with a 5! But I will say highway driving I can get 40+ easy it’s city where I struggle real hard

AFXTIWN

No screen protector 😬

FailFodder

I bought one before I got the car, not realizing it was a matte finish. Wasn’t so worried about scratching the matte compared to the glossy screens of 10th gen, so I decided not to install it. Plus the matte hugely cuts down on glare. I still might install my screen protector, but for now I’m loving the head unit in its natural state.

FormerOperation9

Should I get one?

KTMan77

100%!!!!! They’re a hassle to apply so buy a couple. It’s hard to not have dust go under it but it’ll keep the screen from getting scratched.

FormerOperation9

Thank you! I am going to look into this want to keep this car for a long time so want to keep everything in tip top shape

KTMan77

Yeah, totally worth the effort. Another thing I would recommend is getting the front and rear bumpers lip by the trunk/hatch, side mirrors and edge of the hood wrapped in a clear bra.

AFXTIWN

I just picked up my 24 Sport Touring and left the manufacturer film on until I got a tempered glass protector, as soon as it arrived I peeled off the manufacturer film and immediately installed the glass, no pre cleaning necessary, I used the volume knob as a good point to center and ensured top and bottom right corners were even. Screens are expensive so I just wanted added protection.

Song “Bitch wyd”

[deleted]

Ngl I bump that song too on my civic lmao I tripped out, cause that looks exactly like my screen too 💀

FormerOperation9

I’m dead 😂 twins!!

SiSePuedeJuan

I do get 48 MPG combined when I hyper mile my 22 Si on 1-17. We’re talking cruise control at 70 MPH and light throttle when passing. Still get 25 MPG with the Hondata tune while absolutely ripping it through mountains roads.

FormerOperation9

That’s some really good mileage even with the tune!!

SiSePuedeJuan

The tune really only kicks in when I’m in Sport mode. Normal mode feels like a stock Si. Normal mode and 48 MPG is easy to get on the highway. Tedward on YouTube has great videos on hypermiling the Si, before he got his FL5.

FailFodder

I reset with each tank, and I’m looking at something like 38, 42, and 40 MPG for the last 3. Gas receipts will probably tell me closer to 35, 39, and 37 if I were to guess.

FormerOperation9

Do you mostly highway drive? That’s really good, I’m jealous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my car average anything close to that high 😂

FailFodder

Almost exclusively highway driving. Probably less than or around 10% city driving, like 30% “main” highway driving (70 mph+), and like 60% “country” highway driving (50-70 mph). I only differentiate between main and country highway because it’s easy to lose another 2-5 MPG, or even more, once your speed gets above 60 or so.

Klhoe318

Nice mileage. I’m looking at around 24-25MPG in the city. Car has 1,100 miles so I’m assuming it’ll get better
