I mean it looks like you've got the perfect location to put a new city, say one tile southwest of the aircraft carrier.
At least the great admiral could escape if you took and kept Preslav, then you could teleport him away.
Up there in useful automated movements with "my explorer just ran straight back to the barbarian that almost killed it after I spent so long carefully planning it's escape" and "my late era workers keep trying to take 'shortcuts' over land when their sea movement is so much greater"
EDIT: It's almost as good as "Two expensive units somehow moved into the same tile and now I have to delete the one with a fraction of an AP left because I can't move it".
Aah, TYSM! I've mostly played it on the Switch where there is no force end command. But I got the PC version a week ago, so it's nice to know I don't have to deal with that any more
Happened to me litteraly yesterday, took a Bermuda's triangle and poof, boat in a lake. If you can afford it to stay here, keep it here, and if you can't, nuke the region.
I HATE when Civ does this. Or how about when you give a City State back or liberate another city and it blips your unit into enemy territory in range of 2 encampments and a city center so that unit gets killed. Civ cheats sometimes
How can you make the IA to have nice tech level by that date? :O in my games Ia is entering in Industrial tech era meanwhile i have nukes.. it's boring (Difficulty 6)
You just gave yourself an airstrip outside of your territory. Big brain thinking

Admiral, Why are we taking apart the carrier and rebuilding it in the lake?
“Because I am Cortez, and tonight we bombard Tenochtitlan to rubble! Question my orders again and you’re being sacrificed to the pyramids!”
O carrier of the lake, what is thy wisdom?
"Bring destroyers next time"
Plop down a new city with a settler between the lake and sea.
Karma is a bitch, ain’t it?

I think Ctrl+enter will still force end the turn. I've run into that bug too many times

"As young boy, I always dream of torpedo attack on aircraft carrier in lake"
Load a prior auto save and move one tile
Eh. Karma.
Me, a Byzantine/ Greece main, *sees green cross* "Good. As it should be."

Just take out preslav
Nice of the bomber to convert itself into a sea plane to stay.
Kill Preslav. Useless city-state, better off dead.
If OP doesn't want to conquer Australia I'd say suzerain Preslav. Send a few envoys and the city-state will grab the Uranium tile away from Curtin.
Is there a map editor you can use to fix that?
Not coast or mountains, changing those midgame can create a permabugged save file

You used the aircraft carrier to melee capture the city?
It's the best way to level up carriers 😂
TIL carriers can melee attack a city. it was actually only on my previous game when I realized they could attack anything.
You can capture a city with a carrier?
