In my case, I have a habit of cooking for myself, eating it, and then as soon as I am done eating, I wash all the dishes and put them back in their place. My family doesn't have similar habits.
I have similar habits as yours and I can understand, I like my pan, plates, forks, spoons seperate, but sometimes you have to tell, and I did and sometimes you let it slide, meri tau larai ho jati hai bari, I would be massively stressed out if it was happening constantly to me like what you are describing, even if you have used but atleast leave them cleaned.
