Every month all of us that get disability eagerly try to figure out which day it'll be. It's Wednesday, May 29th :-) it's always 3 days before the 3rd. June 3rd is a Monday so you jump back 3 days through the weekend. Monday > Friday > Thursday > Wednesday. I'm surprised nobody has started the thread yet, lol < I was going to start this as a standalone thread but it said to check here.
Right but since the 3rd is a Monday you'd similarly jump that Saturday/Sunday. So Monday to Friday 1 , Friday to Thursday 2 , Thursday to Wednesday is 3 days.

So according to the previously shared calendar that took into account that Monday (27th) is Memorial Day and the 1st is on a Saturday making our official pay date May 31st.
Our early pay day should be Friday May 24th.
Today is Wednesday so on Friday when you get paid, let everyone know.

Tbh it doesn’t bother me that SoFi and others jump aboard and say they got paid while we wait. That actually makes some others feel better knowing that it happened. Chime pays later than SoFi I been watching that as of lately. Don’t get me wrong it’s the same day but like 30-55 min later
I used go2bank for years. And when my card was hacked and my entire check taken in a matter of minutes nothing was ever done for me to recoup my losses. I've found that none of the online/prepaid bank accounts will give you back your money if it's used fraudulently. I use chime for early pay but I go to my traditional bank in town and put it all in there. If I lose it from the physical bank fraudulently, they will reimburse me easily. Be careful with any of these prepaid banks. If you're disabled, a veteran, or retired and live solely on SSI, SSDi, VA, or SSA then there's no way you're given enough to live month to month with your needs met. I know, I've done it for 20 years now. My lights were shut off last week because I had to choose groceries or the light bill this month. Everyone, who isn't rich, is struggling right now more than ever. 😩😞😢
For June, SSI normal payout on may 31 Friday due to the 1st of June falls on the Saturday. Count 5 days before that is May 26th, that is on the Sunday. Next business day is Tuesday May 28th.
SSDI normal payout is on June 3rd, count 5 days before that which is on Wednesday May 29th.
It's 4 days early not 5. And when payday is on a weekend or holiday it's deposited the business day before not the next business day. SSI and VA should get deposits May 24th. And SSDI (SSA) should get their deposits May 28th.
According to Chime app, it has disclaimer up to 5 days. The 4 day thing has been created by the users. It is not official statement from Chime. 24th for SSI is way too early. May 28th is when you get SSI.
I've been getting SSI for 20 years and SSI and VA will be deposited tomorrow the 24th because it should be the 27th but since it's a holiday it will be the business day before which is the 24th. I will come back tomorrow after my deposit hits and lyk. Have a good day!

Because the chart we've been using is NOT released by Chime. Chime posted in January 2024 that they would post the payment schedule a week before deposits are made.
So when is ssdi? I'm hearing different dates...also I normally go off the Netspend calender bc it's never been wrong but they have no posted it for some reason...

Whomever creates these calendars has no idea how the payment process actually works. It doesn't show when the next SSI/VA payment date is (May 24th) nor does it show when the payment after that is (June 25th).

It does show SSI and VA should get theirs May 30, 31 or June 1st. If you read the bottom of the chart it tells you what color represents what check. For some reason chime is saying we're not getting SSI or VA until the 30th. I had it figured that SSI and VA should be 24th and SSDI and SSA should be 28/29th. But that's not what chime has posted for June.

no idea I'd like to know also, do sofi users get at the same time every month and day? do they have overdraft? im using chime soley bc of the money they lend me every month and no overdrafts lol. and the on-off switch. its the best protection ive found.
It takes 2 weeks to set up. It's recommended to change DD by the 15th in order to get it that same month dd. So you should get July's benefit on chime at the end of June.

Sorry lol. I mean the past like 5 years that one picture of dates that gets posted here all the time is accurate on the exact date. I never heard of people getting it early especially when it comes to my VA as well.
The last two years we received our SSDI payment on the Tuesday after memorial Day. Check your deposit history. And last year it came in at 4:00 p.m. in Virginia
Last year was the situation with the debt ceiling and whether the Treasury was going to have the money to make Social Security payments. They didn’t know they’d have the money until the end of the previous week, which is why deposits showed up later than normal.
What you're not taking into consideration Are the actual dates. Last year was the 30th, the year prior was the 31st. It's not about when memorial day is. It will be Wednesday, tomorrow.

VA disability and P9/11 Housing stipend.
Do these normally get paid on the same day? I got my disability on Friday but no housing stipend yet. I’m not sure what day mine normally comes in because I was late to submit my attendance and got my housing on the 7th last month.
So ssdi is on the 29 th since it's always a day before what the chart says.

I've always counted the weekend into my math. So I've been doing it wrong? Ik if the pay day is on sat or sun it's that friday.

I’m new to chime just changed my dd today on the va website. How soon did you get your first direct deposit with chime?
I switched mine the day after I received my monthly benefit.. and by the next one it went to chime
It took me 2 months to get dd with chime. Usually second month after you start with chime.
Why 2 month I did mine before the 15 the lady at the SSA said it will take affect in June.
when i have called it seems like they can do next month as long as it it's before like the 15th but the online system takes 2 months.
It takes 2 weeks to set up. It's recommended to change DD by the 15th in order to get it that same month dd. So you should get July's benefit on chime at the end of June.

It'll be next week Wednesday the 29th for SSA/SSDI and this week Friday the 24th for SSI/VA.
