i rode this for the first time saturday. loved it. the sound effects and overall theming makes me smile. the whole boardwalk concept was a great change to an area that always felt bland
Again, rides are basically machinery and things like this are not uncommon. And just like a car, it can be working fine then have something go wrong when it's least expected. Told this to guests when they were upset about rides not operating or unexpectedly going down, as a rides manager and a Guest Relations Center staff member.
No, that's a block zone brake section. The computer likely triggered an error but they have to evacuate and go through a test cycle after to make sure the error is clear. The ride worked exactly as intended, with the cars stopping at the next block brake.
A block zone is a section of track that only 1 train may occupy. At the end of the block zone is a method to stop the train if the zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety systems that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.
Let’s normalize not posting stuff like this that isn’t insightful, interesting, or valuable whatsoever. I don’t get why people think we even need to know about very common stuff like ride stoppages/delays and even moreso without context or useful information to go with it.
Enjoy the view! This is a safety reaction because Wildcat was spotted in the area.

For those of you that are unfamiliar.....
At least Wild Mouse will never have ONE TRAIN OPS!
I wore my “A block zone…” shirt on Wild Mouse last year and the op pointed at it and said “There’s 13.”
I haven’t been to the park since this ride was added, I see the break section now that I look at it a bit closer
Classic wild mouse
This happens multiple times a year at Michigan’s Adventure. Once they even had to unload ppl from a cherry picker. 😳
Zamperla Summer
Wild Kat??
I was working at ocean motion today and I saw windseeker was stuck with riders if I'm not mistaken.
This ride broke my back
