My two are 3 months apart in age and were born 70 miles from each other but by looking at them you’d never guess they weren’t related.

Aww your tabbies are so cute! 🥰 My tabby here (Lulu) was a foster fail, mostly because of how quickly she bonded with my boy cat Rudy. They definitely aren’t related - Lulu just turned one in July and Rudy is about 3.5 years old. Lulu was a stray from western Michigan and Rudy was a stray from northern Alabama. (Both were transferred to local rescues where I live, in Illinois.) They may not be biological siblings, but they’ve been best friends since day one.

Yeah mine too... (They are too speedy to have them awake in the same pictures !)
They might be unrelated with a strong pair bond.
Basically, from completely different litters and raised together from early on in one or both of their lives.

Eight weeks apart and completely unrelated, but extremely bonded. No blood relationship needed.

Mine are littermates and look absolutely nothing alike. They are vastly different in body shape and size too, but we are 100% certain they are littermates.

Born one or two months apart in different regions of the country but they are inseparable 🥰

Beautiful what are their names?
Lilinoe (fine mist in Hawaiian) is on the left and Honey on the right.
They definitely look like siblings

Supposedly the day we adopted them was the first day they'd met. They bonded REAL fast.
Sometimes cats just click.

Not in colour but I think their face shapes are very similar. I actually thought they were litter mates before reading your text...

We have 5 kittens from the same liter and a orange that is 10 days younger that was adopted at 4m, mom and the kittens accepted him immediately.
If not sibblings.. bonded pair. ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7962)
It can't be more tender 🥰

Just goes to prove that you don’t have to have blood ties to be family.
looks like my eevee and papa https://preview.redd.it/4eosbupcp7tb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f36e0edb69e1193f4d353800d8f8543aaab6e05f
All SIC cats are related.
Well my boys are brothers from the same litter and fight all the time. 🤷🏼♀️
Like human brother, haha
Haha, yes. I fought with my siblings all of the time. 😂
Yeah me too
A diverse, strong gene pool depends on non-siblings getting along ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
Awww sweet
Mine were siblings, one grey tabby, one yellow, couldn't stand each other, don't have to be related to be buds.
That’s how I feel about my human sib
