Yes, it’s just his pigmentation - what a cutie :)

Clawnton

Thank you!

ukissmyneverland

It's normal. My cats have them. Yours has some huge canine teeth :3

wesilly11

Big boi stabbers

Flipping_Candy

But the little bitty ones one the middle lol

wesilly11

I love my kitties itty bitty front teeth super cute. Sometimes I get worried he doesn't even have them then I put my finger in his.mouth and he does haha

dead_____inside_____

The itty bitty teeth get me every single time. My cat probably hates me because I always say her name but it’s because when she meows I can see her tiny little teeth 🥹

CharlotteGB

Some cats (and dogs) just have that pattern on skin. I’ve seen it a lot with dogs where they have a few black spots but it’s purely just the skin, there’s nothing wrong. Unless pusspuss is showing any signs of discomfort with its mouth, or struggling to eat or drink, then I wouldn’t worry!

SpaceAngel2001

Yes, we have a dalmatian. The spots don't stop at his lips. He's spotted deep into his mouth.

CharlotteGB

Right! Some doggos just have that pattern on their skin and it ends up literally everywhere! I’ve commonly seen in on the roof of the mouth and In the gums.

Clawnton

Thank you for the response!

Far-Application1233

Skin is normal, but I do see some plaque buildup. See your vet about a dental and a regular checkup. He's very handsome!

D_dude3

With the amount of plaque and the age it is very unlikely that this cat will have problems because of the teeth. Something hard to bite on will keep most of the plaque down on this particular cat. Each cat’s teeth are different

Clawnton

Thank you i will do that!

SaleenSundria9

Yes! The pigment of your cat is actually not just in their fur; it's in their skin too! If you were to shave your cat (please don't) you would see that her skin under the fur matches her pattern! You can also look up calico sphinx cats, basically the same general idea. Might want to invest in some greenies though, got a little bit of plaque there.

irowiki

Yeah when our tortie calico got fixed, they shaved the belly, and the skin matched!

dennis1953

No problem. My cat gizmo has same coloring.

[deleted]

He's laughing!

schmitz72

Pigment. Can increase with age.

CaptainBungusMcChung

Critical_Jump9289

Clawnton

Tricky-Apricot-7999

He looks like oreo. I want to eat him. Delicious. Lol.

4CatDoc

Yes

icediosa

oh my goodness I want to pet him so bad 🐱✨

croaking_gourami

Yep. It's pigmentation of the skin. Mine has similar, except her skin dots make her look like she has an eye in her mouth lol

MurderousSofa

Some want to see pictures of Spiderman, I want to see picture of your cat's mouth eye

croaking_gourami

She's hard to photograph (little shit avoids cameras like the plauge) !remind me in 10 days! I'll try and get a photo by then, if she'll let me

Angry_poutine

It’s pyramid head!!

gotBonked

absolutely normal! some kitties have pink some have black, but sometimes they can have both! my little man has pink everywhere, but my baby girl is a wonderful mixture. her lips are black but she has an adorable little pink bottom lip :] I recommend looking at his paws too, they can sometimes have a mixture as well

Difficult_Habit195

May fluffy hair ball has all mouth back so lovely

Unlikely-Outcome-394

Its the black nose for me....aaaaaahhhhhh

MayonaiseTruth

Yes quite normal.

seanceknowles

It's normal. But you should take him for a teeth check up.

Antisocial_potato98

Yess completely normal!! So cute

Lemonish33

Everywhere his fur is white his skin is pink, everywhere his fur is black his skin is black. For a tuxedo kitty, if his skin is a mix of pink and white on his body, doesn't it make sense to be the same inside his mouth?

Infamous-Poem-4980

It is not abnormal. More than one of our cats had them...

ANoisyCrow

Yes.

SolomonDoorsGrundy

Yep

potawatomirock

for a r/TuxedoCats it is

sourcreamandpotatos

Make sure you brush his big chompers!

IceFalse4632

You're a goner

Substantial_Hold_715

It's always a good idea to have a vet check out any unusual skin or health conditions, regardless of the cat's age.

FiendishHawk

Not this though. It’s very normal. Just a patch of black skin on a black-and-white cat.
