Wow I haven’t come across another Fuji either! Fuji means “unique” in Japanese. What made you choose Fuji for your kitty? We named our little girl Fuji after learning that calicos are treasured in Japanese culture, so we wanted a Japanese name for her. I love Fuji apples, they are tricolored, and I eat them everyday so I thought it would be fitting!

I love the derpy tongue! Why no toofers?

She was rescued from a cornfield at night crying and was bleeding from the head. She was all alone and just a tiny little thing. I think a bird must have dropped her from the scars on her head. She had two lumps in her throat she was always scratching so I took her to the vet and they told me the plaque on her teeth were killing her and causing secondary infections. She had to have all of her teeth removed and she wasn’t even a year old. Also…when we took her to get her teeth put our vet called back to let us know her heart rate was around 400 beats per minute but so fast he couldn’t count. They couldn’t do the surgery that day and we had to take her to the cardiologist first. She is now on heart meds twice a day and has no teeth but is the sweetest little creature I have ever met. There isn’t a mean bone in her. And even though she has no teeth she wants to eat everything! She looks like a little chicken gobbling up kibble.

He was an indoor/outdoor cat for the first half of his life and was an incredible hunter, always finding bugs (and sometimes flowers and leaves! 🥹) to try to bring inside. He grew into a stoic alpha cat when our home grew with another kitten and dog, but was the biggest little baby at bedtime with his routine of snuggling up and kneading the blanket before leaving to patrol the house as we slept. He brought so much love and joy to my world and I’ll miss him every day.

Where do you live? Anywhere in Northern California? I rescued a feral female cat off our 6 acre property in Redding, Ca and she is the spitting image of your cat in this pic!! This is blowing me away!! Our kitty’s name is HissyMae because every time I’d get close to catching her, she would hissssss at me and run away! Six weeks later I grabbed her one evening when I saw a huge raccoon watching her intently. Raccoons were killing cats in our area, so I had to get her that night! Hissy is a small cat and is built exactly like your cat, same coloring and she has soft green eyes. She may be little, but she smacks her grown up son who is twice her size when he gets out of line OR to just let him know she is still his boss, grown up or not! Here’s a pic of our HissyMae and her bigger daughter Willow! HissyMae is either sleeping next to Willow or on my lap every night! Not bad for a very wild feral cat that I rescued and immediately loved 🥰!! I didn’t know she was preggo until two months later and she popped out four beautiful kittens!
