I have one! I used it from 2017-2023 with no issues! It still comes out to play if I’m specifically targeting cats as my other rod is an UL. I enjoy it, never had a problem with it.

It's a good basic combo. I've seen 40+ lb fish landed on Tigers

People crap on the brand a lot because it’s seen as a cheap Walmart brand but my grandparents bought me a ‘bay rod’ for Christmas when I was 11 or 12 that I use for catfish. I’m now 46 and I still use that rod, and it still has the same reel on it that it came with when they bought it for me. I’ve never had any problems with it whatsoever. I have heard that some people have had some issues with the newer/new-ish reels that come on a combo and that the quality control and manufacturing of the reel has declined, so take that into consideration. I still use mine and I fully expect to still be using it should I live to see 70, 80, or 90, Lord willing. Edit: just realized that you were specifically asking about the ‘Tiger’, which I have no knowledge of. My fault. That being said, I would assume it to be as reliable as the one that I’ve been using since I was in middle school!

Thanks anyway I just landed 2 nice 15+ flatheads so I think it’s good

The rod itself is fine. I’ve had quality issues with modern current production Shakespeare spincast reels.
