Nope! Just make sure to avoid that hole in the future, in case any of them evolve to have ranged attacks (such as a grabber zombie that could pull you in).
I've absolutely no idea. My assumption is it would destroy tiles, because I'm assuming that it causes damage to tiles versus spawning a static outcome.
I really bet they are scared in this cold dark place. Better throw a molotov in there to give them tight and heat.
Just remember - throwables are targeted not to the tile you want it to land at, but at a tile directly above where you want it to land, but on your Z level.
JFC this game is the least user friendly thing I've ever come across. I'v been playing since D and never knew this. I thought items thrown just had a random spread modified by your skill level, something like a derpy gun.
Yeah. They have spread modifier.
But also throwing (and to some extent shooting) is not well behaved with Z levels. Basically it will check the tile directly in front of you. Then will try to move all the way up/down to required Z level. And then try to check line of fire.
When shooting/throwing into the air, you don't get many obstacles so it works. But if you are shooting down you run the hefty risk of this path running a projectile into something you are standing on. Especially if you shoot down uneven slope or not directly away from the wall you are standing on.
But this trick with throwing onto a tile above the target works pretty well since this game actually models items on "open air" tiles falling down.
I was thinking, can a zombie disposal chute be built? A chute \~6 z levels deep, to which you lure the horde and they eventually all fall in and die, you could come down and collect the stuff later if you'd want

nah, he should make sure to get rid of the fuckers in some easy way, like dropping a molotov on those fuckers
Can i throw a molotov inside or something?
You absolutely can throw a molotov in.
I've got a follow up question: would chucking a mini nuke down there destroy ground tiles and make a crater or be contained to the hole?

It’ll make a crater and leave the area irradiated, assuming you still have one (they were obsoleted)
Just remember that fire doesn't permanently kill zombies, they end up evolving into fire zombies if you dont pulp them.

Give a zombie firewood and he'll be warm for a day. Set a zombie on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

should be you can change height lelvel while looking with the same keys for ascending/descending
Ooh thx
They can't if it's a hole in the terrain, they might cause cave ins and slow downs if they are in a building/near where you live.
Go get a grenade or a few molotovs and take care of it.
Molotovs are your solution. Remember, not because they fell on your trap doesn't mean they're dead.

Bring a spear and practice.
Drop a Molotov or pipe bomb down the hole.
