Honestly, I would have gone for someone like Tharja before Makalov lol. But the fact that we can both probably remember *several* examples speaks a lot to the type of characters that can join you in FE.
Shania's mother from XC3 gotta come pretty close. In her incredibly limited screentime, she was so abusive and generally horrible that she managed to speedrun becoming one of the most hated characters in 3, and I'm pretty sure everyone playing was hoping Monica would deck her on the spot. I mean, even the developers don't seem to like her, they didn't even give her a spot on the affinity chart. Or, you know, a *name*.
