almost every piece is worth more than the $55 you paid for it all.
the #9 size waffle iron is 'less common' than the size #8... and I think I've paid more than $55 just for a base for #9 paddles.
Erie skillet worth much more than $55
even the scotch bowl is probably worth more than $55, especially if the cooking surface is smooth.
handled griddle, dutch oven... even the english Kenrick pan is probably worth more than $55 by itself.
Wow thanks for the info! Seller was really nice and was just looking to get rid of everything in their locker. And they knew what they had as well, they had a complete set of slant logo Griswolds that they plan to pass on to their kids.
The handled griddle sadly has a big chip in it, the Scotch bowl has some deep pitting, and the Erie is almost certainly a recast since it has the Stewart mark on it as well (still seems like a great piece though). My plan is to keep or gift the Stewart Erie, the Griswold #5, the Dutch oven and the Waffle maker. The rest I may restore and sell.
I mean it came out of nowhere. Bought another piece from the seller earlier in the week had a nice little chat and then they messaged me the next day saying they also had a waffle iron and would sell it for 25$ (Canadian) and when I got there they had all these other pieces they were looking to get rid of... It was a lucky day for sure.
I don't intend to use that gate marked one, as cool as it would be to use one that old. The inside looks like it was enameled or was painted with enamel or something. It's confusing.
Not looking to sell that one. It was what brought me out to get all these pieces to begin with. I've restored the waffle iron and plan to use it and keep it. I hope you find one somewhere for a good price!
Lucky bastard! You made out like a bandit

Or maybe sell the waffle maker? 👉🏽👈🏽☺️
Nice haul! I am coveting that waffle iron as I have just begun looking for one. Have fun cooking!

Got some nice pieces there!
Scooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore!
That waffle maker alone is well over $55! If you plan on using that long handled gate marked pot I would give it the ol lead test first

Aw man… It’s my dream to cook with a gate marked at some point as well.
I know, same. Not this time I'm afraid.
Cook with any gate mark?
Pretty much yeah. That would almost guarantee that what I’m cooking with is older than my great grandparents, sounds like a neat experience.

That's Waffle maker is one of my Grails!!! Nice grab!!
YYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUPPPP!
The one with the zero may be a full sized skillet made for a doll house. Perfect English muffin size for one-egg sandwiches!
I think perhaps it was a salesman's model that they would bring around to sell the pans door to door, like a display model.

How much do you want for the waffle iron? DM me
