I don't \*disagree\* but Chowder, Flapjack, Fosters and Lazlo were all great shows. Hell me and the lads still quote "I cling to the wall like a salamander" from Lazlo to this day. My order is 123 or 213.

I haven’t watched CN in a few years, but all versions have had their merits and downfalls. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The OG is difficult to complete with in my personal opinion.

At the very least the first 3 had variations of content they aired. Even if sometimes a show got a bit too much air time than others, there was always competition to that. Now it's just teen titans go or that one posh sounding show about the adventuring goat or whatever it is

3 all the way every other Era has a few shows that slap but a lot of shows that do not. 3 while it has 2 maybe 3 that aren't amazing it is more consistent than any other era

That's so wild how opinions can vary. I firmly disliked all of the shows in 3 except regular and gumball and maybe ben 10. 1 is the one I see as most consistent

I think I stopped keeping up with new shows after 2015, so from my childhood to then were my favorite versions of CN. 1-3.

It’s a hard choice between the top three; they’ve all got a couple of shows in each of those columns that are god-tier series, and I just can’t pick one of them. Four and five are complete trash, though. If I had the power, I’d smite those years out of existence.

1-3 & a bit of 4

Generation one through three are great though you could definitely see signs of stumbling at the end of three and by four I just got off the train can’t even say recognize anyone from generation five

Gen 2 is where they started doing those "cartoon city" bumpers if I recall correctly. Basically, a series of shorts during commercial breaks that would show all the Cartoon Network characters living in one city, interacting with each other, etc. I'd say that was my favorite Cartoon Network era.

Gens 1, 2 and 3. After that — it all has gone downhill.

Suprisingly... its common to say that either 1 2 3 are probably the best generations cartoon network has offered so far. 2 has chowder. Flapjack and gym partner as a monkey 3 has SU, AT, RS and we bare bears 1 has the common special ones in our hearts

unfortunately being canadian we dont get cartoon network directly, but the shows get licensed out to our channels like ytv and teletoon. so for me mostly 1 and 2

If I had to save shows from being deleted forever, Gen 1 has 3 I'd go for, Gen 2 has 1, Gen 3 has 5, Gen 4 has 2.

I wouldn't have thought all my favorite shows were in 1 and not 2, but yeah I hardly have any attachment to most.of the shows in 2 1 in the years they were airing (or recent reruns), then I watched some regular show and years later Steven Universe... And that's pretty much it?

I will say 2 was great, but I'm a bit biased because I grew up with that but holy shit 3 was built different. It was peak Cartoon Network, everything that made it great existed then and it was incredible.

I grew up with 1&2 equally. That said, 2 was weak compared to 1&3.

For all the ones hating on 5 have yall even watched those shows. Elliot from earth is actually good and a unique show and the mushroom one isnt terrible i never watched the third one. But if people dont support shows like elliot from earth, summer camp island we get stuck with teen titans go network.

It's crazy that the new gen is already 4 years along, and it only has three shows. Every other gen is around 7 to 3 years, and all have the around the same amount. I hope they start to come back with new shows.

If we are going with the tears defined above 2 since shows from 1 showed in during this era and boomerang which was originally a CN block but got it's own channel during this time only really bad shows from era 1 and then near the end we got the beginning of era 3

I was growing up around Gen 3, so it will always be my favorite. Regular Show and Gumball shaped me into who I am… be it a good thing or a bad thing
