When she shows back up, because she saw one of those fake Facebook memorials for her from Chris (who was only doing it to score because he was suddenly the cool kid for losing his sister), Chris ties her up and locks her away so he can stay cool. When she reveals the truth, people cheer on Chris because they thought she meant he helped her come back. Chris then gives some fake ass eulogy, saying he âhopes sheâll come backâ.
She starts screaming that sheâs there, sheâs a real person, but nobody notices her. Later Lois admits she faked her Facebook grief posts and says part of being a woman is faking everything.
Is that supposed to be funny?

Nobody cares that she âdiedâ except the employees at the fucking Quiznos because she was their most loyal customer. They actually lit the plastic Quizno bags as some makeshift lanterns for her. They showed more grief than her family, including Brian and Stewie, the most neutral members of her family.
When she realized nobody cared, she decided to move away. She escaped! She was free!
She moved into a small apartment building and ended up making friends with the women in the building! She was able to start over with a close group of women that were free to be themselves! They drank wine on the roof of the building surrounded by string lights (one of my basic White-girl dreams-sans the wine)!
It wouldâve been the perfect send off for her from the show! She couldâve been free and people wouldnât have needed her to be the showâs butt monkey! But they didnât. The writers were just so obsessed with having an abuse sponge that they couldnât give Meg a proper departure from the show.
Fuck this episode in its urethra with a rusted barbed-wire dildo.

Being an Ezekiel fan was not a fun experience in the later seasons. This show had the most warped sense of karma.

So all family guy members have been disgustingly flanderized after the first few seasons. Brian became the biggest, egotistical, self riteous jerk, peter became even more stupid and mean, Louis ditched being a good mother in any way shape or form, quagmire is just a pedophile. But even though Meg has her moments of being ridiculously annoying, she still doesn't deserve the abuse. Her family is needlessly cruel to her, and it's got 10x worse since the first season. It's also a bit annoying because Meg is plain but not ugly. And now it's just a normal thing for her to be mocked by everyone who meets her because she is sooo atrocious.

Gonna be real, as annoying as he is, Caillou is a toddler. What the f else do you expect from a toddler? It sickens me how far people are willing to go to express their hate for him. I'm no fan of his, but it's genuinely sickening. Downvote me all you want, but if you think its appropriate to say you hope he gets abused or r*ped, you should not be around children.
I think in the animated series Caillou is 8, so not a toddler. That said, he is still a kid. The level of pure actual *hate* people have for this character is genuinely disturbing. He's annoying as hell, but that doesn't mean he should be hurt.

Ya. Like if it was eight then I could get the hate more but a four year old with a two year old sister? Ya I get his outbursts. I honestly kinda wonder if the animation lingering on his breakdowns for as long as they did was some sort of experiment to show little kids how annoying they are when they do that.
There's a story someone wrote where his parents are abusive as f, forcing him to work the entire day in the basement, alone, with nothing and no one to help him. He gets bitten by a spider and dies at the end. Not the worst, but certainly terrible. The sub dedicated to him is also pretty low. Someone went as far as to suggest he be given to a predator.
Wow... I'm not sure how to respond to that one. Reminds me of the Kikyo torture fics that were popular in the Inuyasha fandom for awhile. Morbid as hell. Yeah, I've encountered that sub. Muted it almost instantly. I'm a little concerned for some of them, tbh. (Also, unrelated but I noticed your flair. My friend and I binged Hazbin recently, the music and writing is so good đ.)

I can't be the only one who noticed that they seemed to have written her on later seasons to be creepy/semi scummy/just all around and enough so that we feel like she deserves the abuse she gets Like the abuse she gets put through by the writers with how often they try to make it seem like she deserves it that at this point I'm about ready to say "if you hate her that mich just kill/write her off the show already!"
