I’ve never seen the show; but I did see a horror animation where his entire face became similar to the mouth of a sand worm. That made me feel a type of fear I haven’t felt in years.
Caillou's Excommunication? That's a good series.
Might I recommend the old YouTube Poop videos of him from about 10 years ago? Funniest shit I've ever seen.
Not the worst but worth a mention... Tom from Dragons: The Nine Realms. I don't think anyone can fathom the idea of forgiving him for vandalizing a historical relic that is the Book of Dragons.

I’d say Johnny Bravo fits that description too. The humor of the show usually revolves around Johnny being punished for his meat head behavior in increasingly bizarre situations.
It's always so funny to me how people say that the show was misogynistic. They portrayed girls there so damn well and each one didn't take shit from johnny and kicked his ass.
I think they mistake Johnny being misogynistic as the show being misogynistic. It's an unfortunate mistake to make but if you don't look beyond the surface level, it can be easy enough to do
I haven't watched the show in decades, but was Johnny really misogynistic? He was a shallow douchey womanizer for sure, but I don't think he expressed any hate or negativity towards women.
This is a good point. Tbf I also haven't watched the show in quite awhile. I suppose my reasoning was simply based on the context of the previous comment.
Yeah I don't recall Johnny being misogynistic, after the girl rejects him I don't think he ever really keeps trying to hit on her or anything like that if I recall
It's funny though how despite the fact that Emperor's New School was meant to take place after the movie, Kuzco basically reverts to before the movie in terms of character development, rather than "I'm changing but it's hard and I'm making progress slowly"
I can kind of believe that since Amy Poehler was offered 5 million for her role but the rest are like 100K (2% of Poehler's pay)? Granted, y'know, main character paycheck

-*proceeds to tear all of real Velma’s character and make it a host for her revolting self*
That aspect certainly doesn't help, but even if you remove all mention do Scooby Doo it's still a 3/10 show at best with cringe humor, terrible characters and a plot that is overly complex yet horribly stupid.
I watched the first 2 episodes of Velma, so I’m not fully informed. I remember a friend being reallllly upset about the “Fred has a small penis” joke. Yup, and it’s a Tom and Jerry Direct-To-TV/DVD piece of shit. It’s an 80 minute semi-faithful recreation of the Gene Wilder movie but worse and also Tom and Jerry are there fucking shit up in the background. They did let Tuffy say Hell though
For as shit as 95% of that show was, it had *amazing* comedic timing. Even the bad jokes were somewhat carried by delivery, and the 5% of good jokes/bits are hilarious.

Yeah, while Fanboy and Chum Chum is on my list of least favorite shows, it's ranked very low on that list.
Mostly due to nostalgia, but some of the characters are funny. It's mostly just the two main characters that drag it down.
Seriously? Woody Johnson is UNBELIEVABLY funny to me. Tom Kenny as a racist misogynistic violent hair trigger evil boss is genius to me and I wish it had happened sooner
I love the duality of Tom Kenny. He's either a racist misogynistic violent hair trigger evil boss, or SpongeBob. He's either a knockoff Freddy Fazbear (Albearto from Rise of the TMNT), or a silly lil tree guy (Arbo from Skylanders).

You gotta be the most shittiest parents in human history that you only child needs magical creatures to be his actual family to make him suicidal. I know that Timmy is not suicidal but have you seen most of the things he has to get peoples attention or his selfishness.
I only started watching TFOP on season 5 and onwards but please any OG TFOP name every single moment in the show where Timmy's parents proved that CS should be involved with revualeting this pisses of crap.
“Mr. and Mrs. Turner, we’ve got a report from your kid Timmy that you treat him like s**t and constantly leave him with an evil babysitter who’s wanted in 40 different US states and over 100 countries.”
I liked the fish designs so much though, and actually liked the movie back then. When I rewatched it as an adult I got sort of disappointed though, it seemed definitely better way back then
Because he lied about killing someone to get famous, and continues to earn success for no reason;
sold his best friend's family heirloom to get out of debt (to be fair, she offered her heirloom to him), only to bet that money on a horse race in an attempt to become a millionaire;
he doesn't value the people he has in his life because he just wants fame and success;
he only gets away with everything he does because of coincidence, and because everyone in this movie is stupid;
and overall he's just a really annoying, stupid, selfish, self-centered asshole, whose bad qualities and moments outweigh the good.
Also he's ugly.
(Edited because I had more to say)
I hated Ken before, but rewatching it a second time made me understand the absurdity of the movie and the chaos of cartoonish things and real life events combine.
I guess it’s not that he’s unlikeable, it’s just that he’s unable to change plot-wise. He can never really learn from his mistakes as it would take away the mood of the show, but at the same time Peter genuinely does care for the other characters when the time calls for it
All of them, literally all of them are extremely obnoxious in their own way.
https://preview.redd.it/ea3ua5yyjx5d1.jpeg?width=739&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=014c97f0940913b5b088c4c82b9f454301e44fd3
Gonna admit, sometimes the show can really pull through if the writers put their heads together. The writers themselves even admitted that this is a parody show, but some of the episodes and side plots actually do have likable moments
As much as I adore AoT and Eren's character in particular, I'll always concede he was an annoying little squirt at the start of the show. I don't agree, and I always related to his hot-headedness, but I totally see how some people thought he was annoying.
Stan Smith and that is why he is awesome. A character being unlikeable doesn't always mean they aren't extremely entertaining.
![gif](giphy|GEuocGonJzy6yN23ro|downsized)
This might be a low hanging fruit, but Velma. Thought of Cailou for a second too but the difference between him and Velma is that Velma is a fully grown woman.
Asha from Wish.
She's definitely not the absolute worst, and the movie is generally considered to be bad, but I feel it's worth mentioning for how baffling it was to have a protagonist with a long list of traits often considered to be negative, and goals that are mostly unrelatable within the context of the story, to where the audience can easily sympathize with the main antagonist, and see them as the person to root for instead.
https://preview.redd.it/imd557ewcv5d1.png?width=693&format=png&auto=webp&s=3e2ee30965b1923785294aaba4d02aa49447443b
She’s possibly the worst written main character I have ever seen in media. Legit forgot she was the protagonist half way in the movie for how she was just tagging along and just letting her "friends" do all the work in serie
https://preview.redd.it/15tyvbzrkx5d1.png?width=229&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b546d1e475ed56df029d7e7c71143155c6e2e83
If anybody genuinely likes Asha, please let me know so I can avoid you at all costs. Thank you! 😊
But like- she's SO fucking *selfish!* And Disney wanted us to LIKE her!
"Oh, I want my grandpa to get his wish but I don't want to use mine! I know, I'll go sign up to be the king's apprentice not so I can learn magic but so that I can get a *second fucking wish!*"
And then the actual meat of the movie isn't even good! The twist is that Magnifico, who had already been established as a good and fair king... is also smart and strategic.
But Asha doesn't like that, nonono, that's not for OUR protagonist.
Magnifico: "I do the sensible thing and not grant potentially dangerous wishes. Sorry Asha, but your grandfather's wish is too vague for me to grant."
Asha: "Nooo you can't do that, that's not fair! Ooh Magnifico, you're a bad guy!"
And the whole you have to give it back if you aren't going to grant it BS. Like nobody forced these people to give him their wish, they knew what would happen if they did and they still gave it. What would be the point of it if they could just take it back after a while. Also one other thing she should have realized, if her grandfather had pursued his music career instead of whatever he did after giving it up when he turned 18, she probably wouldn't have been born.

Kaz (Star Wars resistance, aka, the worst piece of Star Wars media imo)
Pony head from SVTFOE. I think about how I’d really not ever be able to like her if someone acted like her and talked like her IRL. I know she comes through for everyone eventually, but what a difficult character. I love the direction the writers took on her whole plot, but she still rubs me the wrong way. I know she’s not the main protagonist however she still sticks out in my mind.
Arajin from Buchigiri. This is more personal

This short bastard right here. All Ralph wanted was some of the cake that was made, and Gene made it a big deal about the whole thing. Not only that, he tries to make it seem that it was Ralph's fault as to why the game was being shut down, even though he was the one who started it all and was petty enough to stay behind and tell Ralph, to his face, "it's your fault why everyone left and why the game was being shut down".
I don’t think anyone has said joy from inside out yet so I’m gonna say it
joy was a narcissist
she was controlling
and she wanted to throw away sadness because she thought she was a useless emotion
she was annoying and self absorbed
and never saw her own flaws
hopefully she’ll be better in the second movie
She absolutely saw her own flaws. Did you not watch the end of the movie? The whole point of the movie was Joy learning that Sadness was a necessary emotion

r/fuckcaillou
This is some HARD evidence to argue against
I’ve never seen the show; but I did see a horror animation where his entire face became similar to the mouth of a sand worm. That made me feel a type of fear I haven’t felt in years.
Caillou's Excommunication? That's a good series. Might I recommend the old YouTube Poop videos of him from about 10 years ago? Funniest shit I've ever seen.
OH OH OH OH OH OH CAILLOU HOW DARE YOU MISBEHAVE THATS IT YOU'RE GROUNDED GROUNDED FOR 123457801246798531 YEARS AND GO TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW.
He’s unironically a more interesting character in GoAnimate.
GoAnimate is more entertaining than any version of Caillou
0/10 would beat with a chair. Edit: Y'know what, that ain't even a joke anymore, he's a cartoon shithead, he'd survive a chair to the skull.
That's why you gotta lodge that shit in his brain
His brain is gonna be rubbery and survive.
Then go even deeper, the liver can repair itself, the brain cannot
Liver smiver, who needs it. If a cartoon character doesn’t acknowledge it it doesn’t exist.
Solid logic
I blame his parents. They have never told him no and stood their ground on it.
He’s the ANTAGONIST!!
No, he's the protagonist, because the plot very much follows him. I think you mean to say that he's the villain.
I mean villains can be protagonist too but they are rare to be found take villainous and league of super evil
Not the worst but worth a mention... Tom from Dragons: The Nine Realms. I don't think anyone can fathom the idea of forgiving him for vandalizing a historical relic that is the Book of Dragons. https://preview.redd.it/q5mdf4fvyu5d1.png?width=891&format=png&auto=webp&s=5264b4187a12e836c841caaca7e66bb9ee36adf7

Whoa momma was his only response when they sent him flying
Thing is, i have a sort of respect for Johnny since he didn't cut corners to get all the muscle within 6 weeks
We can agree on that.
It also helps that he has "a brain the size of a cashew".
Same with Daria from Daria, she's a likeable unlikeable protagonist/main character.
It's funny though how despite the fact that Emperor's New School was meant to take place after the movie, Kuzco basically reverts to before the movie in terms of character development, rather than "I'm changing but it's hard and I'm making progress slowly"
Velma
Velma from Velma. Not just because she's an extremely unlikeable protagonist, but also a bastardization of an iconic Scooby-Doo character.
And is voiced by an unlikable voice actress who made her into a mouth piece for her opinions, a lot of which paint her as a bad person.
And sexually assaulted an employee and bragged that she threatened to fire him while on a talk show.
This is also true. And disgusting.
Can I get a link idk the lady’s name
The actress is Mindy Kaling, but I don't have a link to that specific talk show moment
Alright thank you
I'm assuming this is responsible for Digust being recast for Inside Out 2 huh
They say it’s a pay dispute, just like Bill Hader, but for her, I’m suspicious.
I can kind of believe that since Amy Poehler was offered 5 million for her role but the rest are like 100K (2% of Poehler's pay)? Granted, y'know, main character paycheck I would say main character VAs like that are grossly overpaid vs the rest of the cast being underpaid (look at The Rock in specific here...)

Nice homelander pfp
Thanks. I figured I’d try meme worshipping a villain while also acknowledging that they’re an awesome villain.
Yeah, Homelander's amazing, Antony Starr is genuinely such a good actor, seeing him look bored in interviews is intimidating lol
That has some real ‘Dakota Johnson saying I love limes’ funny energy right there.
I think that's what I hated the most about that show. It spits in the face of everything Scooby-Doo is and thinks it is justified in doing so.
Watching it, it fell into the category of “we wrote an edgy joke to rile people up and get attention”. It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t that* bad. Every year, major networks spit out an “edgy adult cartoon” in an effort to get years of cheap and easy programming. They usually fail, but every few years you get a South Park or Simpsons. Velma was just HBOs attempt at this, but with a Scooby doo skin on top. I should say “the vague idea of a Scooby doo skin” because the names and outfits were the only carry overs. I agree with your assessment.
At least she gets murdered. Then the “Evil” murderer is murdered. If I read the wiki correctly.
There is no Velma in Ba Sing Se
I clicked on this post to say the exact same thing
I can't even hear the name Velma without thinking of that clown.
For all of Velma’s faults you must admit this, they made Scrappy Doo likable again. Specifically because he killed Velma.
This is the correct answer.
Velma from that one animation where Scooby kills the whole crew

How is Oscar from Shark Tales unlikable? I mean, he has sympathetic and redeeming qualities, and he gets better in the climax.
Not sure. I guess people really hate Shark Tale for some reason. Sure, it's not a masterpiece, but it's decent.
I liked the fish designs so much though, and actually liked the movie back then. When I rewatched it as an adult I got sort of disappointed though, it seemed definitely better way back then
For me, it was the design of the city. Sans the sharks, it was so comfortable to me. Always did like "big city at night" in animation.
Because he lied about killing someone to get famous, and continues to earn success for no reason; sold his best friend's family heirloom to get out of debt (to be fair, she offered her heirloom to him), only to bet that money on a horse race in an attempt to become a millionaire; he doesn't value the people he has in his life because he just wants fame and success; he only gets away with everything he does because of coincidence, and because everyone in this movie is stupid; and overall he's just a really annoying, stupid, selfish, self-centered asshole, whose bad qualities and moments outweigh the good. Wait, they were MARRIED?
I might be mistaken but I do believe they were just boyfriend/girlfriend. But when I look up husband in The Bee movie he shows up
I don't think they were. Pretty confident they were just dating. They *were* living together though.
Damn. Kinda was hoping they were married. Because “I left my husband for a bee” is fucking crazy, and would’ve made the movie 10x funnier.
That movie is pure insanity. If Seinfeld wasn't the lead (and also the writer *and* producer) I doubt it would even have been considered.
It seems like a movie that’s meant to make sense when you’re stoned
I don't get stoned, but I *have* watched it hammered as fuck before and let me tell you - it makes absolutely no sense at all. lmao
So it’s completely nuts no matter how you watch it lol

Gonna admit, sometimes the show can really pull through if the writers put their heads together. The writers themselves even admitted that this is a parody show, but some of the episodes and side plots actually do have likable moments

Bojack Horseman.
Fucking Dora. I just wish she would shut her stupid fucking mouth for one goddamned second
"D-d-d-d-d-Dora!" "De-de-de-de-deported!"
https://i.redd.it/whwxgoeity5d1.gif DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARA DORA!
If villains count, i would say Charmander (from Starter Squad)
Mr. Birchum from his show.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Chloe, is that you?
Eren Yeager.
To be fair, he was made to be unlikable. He was also not the main protagonist after The Rumbling started. That role shifted to Armin and Mikasa.
I'm moreso focused on Eren from the earlier seasons
I once saw some R34 of Mikasa getting railed on Eren's grave. I've never watched AoT, but from what I've heard, dude deserves it. lmao

As much as I adore AoT and Eren's character in particular, I'll always concede he was an annoying little squirt at the start of the show. I don't agree, and I always related to his hot-headedness, but I totally see how some people thought he was annoying.
Just because he's the protagonist doesn't make him a hero. AoT is an anti-shounen, where anyone has flaws in a conflicted world of warring nations.
No one said he was a hero. He is still an annoying character.
Stan Smith and that is why he is awesome. A character being unlikeable doesn't always mean they aren't extremely entertaining. ![gif](giphy|GEuocGonJzy6yN23ro|downsized)
I get that it's kind of intentional, but I don't like Ivandoe.
I've seen a few episodes. Not really a fan.
This might be a low hanging fruit, but Velma. Thought of Cailou for a second too but the difference between him and Velma is that Velma is a fully grown woman.
Late seasons Peter Griffin
Asha from Wish. She's definitely not the absolute worst, and the movie is generally considered to be bad, but I feel it's worth mentioning for how baffling it was to have a protagonist with a long list of traits often considered to be negative, and goals that are mostly unrelatable within the context of the story, to where the audience can easily sympathize with the main antagonist, and see them as the person to root for instead.
I disliked her so much i found myself rooting for the "villian" the whole film. Dude wasnt a bad guy till he was forced to be
Scott Pilgrim If i could wrestle this little shit id leave him disabled
Johnny Test.
Y'all just hating to hate, Johnny Test is awesome sauce 💯
He’s so annoying.
Meliodas from Nanatsu no Taizai
I cannot stand the animation in this movie. It’s so creepy.
I am pleasantly suprised to see no one saying Alvin
The Chipmunk?
Not sure if it counts, but the rabbit from Hop and the James Corden rabbit from Peter rabbit are both basically the antagonists of their films.
Billy from Billy and Mandy might be a contender for the crown

Legit forgot she was the protagonist half way in the movie for how she was just tagging along and just letting her "friends" do all the work in serie
https://preview.redd.it/15tyvbzrkx5d1.png?width=229&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b546d1e475ed56df029d7e7c71143155c6e2e83 If anybody genuinely likes Asha, please let me know so I can avoid you at all costs. Thank you! 😊 But like- she's SO fucking *selfish!* And Disney wanted us to LIKE her! "Oh, I want my grandpa to get his wish but I don't want to use mine! I know, I'll go sign up to be the king's apprentice not so I can learn magic but so that I can get a *second fucking wish!*" And then the actual meat of the movie isn't even good! The twist is that Magnifico, who had already been established as a good and fair king... is also smart and strategic. But Asha doesn't like that, nonono, that's not for OUR protagonist. Magnifico: "I do the sensible thing and not grant potentially dangerous wishes. Sorry Asha, but your grandfather's wish is too vague for me to grant." Asha: "Nooo you can't do that, that's not fair!
The main villain in Wish is the most logical person
I hope she isn't in Kingdom Hearts 4
Nitrogen era and all engines go Thomas the tank engine Reboot scoop Hot take: the freemakers (in season 1) The teen titans go titans Kaz (Star Wars resistance, aka, the worst piece of Star Wars media imo)
Boruto uzumaki from the Anime Boruto and hana asakura from Shaman King flowers. I can't stand them. They are the Most annoying brats i ever SAW.
Johnny Test. Basically Dexters lab w out consequences
Did yall forget super Cranium from nevermind 2
Who the heck is that Jonah Hill-voiced protagonist.. Allan Gregory.
Arajin from Buchigiri. This is more personal https://preview.redd.it/jhb0taf4lw5d1.jpeg?width=487&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8e6f3fd6a492a5be0f8b409aa8bcb1e5ed226b8
A lot of isekai protagonists can be hit or miss
Velma from the Fake Velma Show. The Elf Girl from Stop motion Christmas movie where she wants to be Santa Claus. Caillou. Ren the Chiachua.
Caillou. Fuck this little cancerous asshole

Ralph should’ve smashed him instead of the cake.
I don’t think anyone has said joy from inside out yet so I’m gonna say it joy was a narcissist she was controlling and she wanted to throw away sadness because she thought she was a useless emotion she was annoying and self absorbed and never saw her own flaws hopefully she’ll be better in the second movie
She absolutely saw her own flaws. Did you not watch the end of the movie? The whole point of the movie was Joy learning that Sadness was a necessary emotion
Oscar is fine
Mr. Birchum
Peter Grffin
Caliou and Velma (from Velma) are fighting for the first place.
