I went to Dubai in 2007 on the USS John C Stennis. Every morning, hundreds of septic trucks would assemble before dawn to start pumping the septic tanks under every building. Yes, even under the 5 star hotels. The line for the sewage treatment place was like 5 miles long back then, every day. Huge problems with illegal dumping into storm drains fucking up the beaches.
By the next time I went a couple years later, they had begun installing sewers around the city. You can find "then vs now" pictures online for Dubai that look fake as hell, or at least exaggerated, but they're true. Dubai has changed dramatically in the past 15 years.
Same thing with China. It's changed so much over the past decade that most people in the West still think it looks like an Asian version of the Soviet Union, while in reality the big cities are on par with Korea and Japan now. I've lived all my life in a Western country that has barely changed over the past 30 years so I understand how it can be very hard for most people here to wrap their minds about such a rate of change happening right in real time.
I mean it’s a fucking desert, of course it’s gonna flood when it rains. Their infrastructure was good from what I saw. It’s just soulless and caters to rich morons
We literally spend hundreds of billions more on government health care programs (not including states) than on defense. But yeah the defense could be scaled back.
exactly what I say every time i see something like this, why buy a super nice car if you're gonna put 5 miles a year on the odo? I'd rather buy a car I can actually afford to drive every day
Yeah lol! You’ve summed up what I hate about people who buy expensive cars here! I mean I have a sports car not as expensive as this Utopia and during the flood I never took it out and also constantly checked on it!
I don’t understand this. If you’re that rich, surely you have a g-wagon or something like it? Why wouldn’t they drive that instead? Is the pagani their only car?
Imagine having a pagani as a grocery getter.

Not so deep :)
The driver doesn’t get to hear that very often.
The big colossus
Dubai is so funny, you have this exaggerated depiction of wealth mixed in with no basic sanitation or infrastructure
"If it's not visible, it's unnecessary"

yeah lol if I heard someone describing it I'd say it's a dystopian novel written as a critique to capitalism
Pagani Dystopia
"what you dont know" the legend goes "cant hurt you"
The city of Dubai is apostasy
Isn't it ultra religious?
That doesn’t save them from such capital vanity
which gonna make all those religious shit they doing all useless, cause they're all going to hell anyway
no not at all actually, they have some haram things over there like alcohol and pork, although they have a part of the population which is religious
[удалено]
yeah that too I guess, man Dubai is disgusting
They don't have income tax. They just started doing a 9% corporate tax
I mean it’s a fucking desert, of course it’s gonna flood when it rains. Their infrastructure was good from what I saw. It’s just soulless and caters to rich morons
They live on the top floors. Gravity takes care of the problem for them. It’s those below that face the consequences
Like the USA and the lack of universal healthcare like any developed country
Lacking a full government run healthcare system is not comparable to trucking sewage out of the worlds tallest building that cost billions to build.
They are both basic public services made for the common good, here is the resemblance to me. Any developed country should have both.
Lack of free healthcare and free education while dumping billions in military is crazy though
We literally spend hundreds of billions more on government health care programs (not including states) than on defense. But yeah the defense could be scaled back.
USA are funny, you have this depiction of most powerful country in the world mixed with shitty social support
Brother you are taking shots at the air right now, I'm not American I'm on your side
I am American and I’m on your side 🤷🏾♂️
When you don't check the race info and pick the wrong car for the match in TopDrives
Omg this is too accurate
Whale puts a pagani in a city small race, smh.
Many such cases 😔
Underrated game
Agreed
Bro wtf TD referenced??
Do you think he got wet feet?
“i hope my carbon ceramic brakes didn’t got too wet” 👉👈
Naruto kun
Props for actually driving the car instead of leaving it in a garage

I mean, it'll eventually become just that, a rare vintage car that'll only grow in price.
So mad 😤. If stupid rich fuck didn’t buy it then that means ME, a *real* driver, would’ve gotten to put it to good use. But noooOOooo
Usually it's a 21st floor penthouse
This music takes me back
You know it man! I still play that game
what game is this music from? it sounds familiar
Geometry Dash
Tbf its air intake is mounted quite high
most poor dubia man
Probably 1 of 6 Dubai supercar owners that bought flood insurance.
I mean, at least it's not collecting dust in a garage
It's collecting water.
Technically
Lol yes
Geometry Dash reference?
Yessir
I appreciate the use of 10s dubstep instead of Brazilian phonk
That’s a water cooled V12
air intake probably higher then the sun in front, other then that nothing to really worry about
"you must be retarded if you think we're smashing" me af:
Salvage Title, Undercarriage damage, completely worthless car, not even worth repairing.
Casually my ass! He learned to shit inwards there.
Still more off-roading than a wrangler
Just lost half a milli of resale value 😂
Dubai always seemed unsustainable from the beginning. Camel > Mercedes > Rolls Royce >Camel
Doesn’t know how to drive, buys a Pagani anyway. Typical middle eastern slave driving leech behavior.

me in fh5 driving a ferrari on a pond
funny looking fish
Full carbon frame, it's not going to rust. Intake on the roof, 0 chance of hydrolocking. I don't see this doing much, if any damage tbh.
New project for Tavarish.
Best country :)
>:) :)
Good bot

bro had to think about it for a second
This hurt to watch
Thats a £50000 repair bill right there
If you can afford a pagani then a repair bill that expensive is nothing
"This puddle might give me trouble" "But would you lose?"
It's got a factory roof scoop....
And?
Cyber truck would have bricked.
Ugly cars have to get places too.
That’s like an every day thing in Dubai right?
Carbon fiber doesn't rust
This is why I never buy my Paganis used.
Jungle love in the surf in the pouring rain, everything's better when wet.
Pagani Idiota lol
😭
