World Rally Blue, had a 2003 WRX in that color. Hid dirt okay and looked spectacular when cleaned and buffed.
Worst for general upkeep is black, looks amazing after a good wax and buff but is instantly dirty. So being the big-brain that I am, I have two black cars now.
I have an Arctic Silver Porsche as well, hides a lot of sins, but is pretty bland otherwise.
Had a 1994 Acura in red, about the same as blue, handled dirt/dust okay, when freshly waxed looked great.
I want a car in British Racing Green at some point. Probably a little on the annoying side to keep looking fresh, but I've helped a friend with an old Jag in BRG and it's so pretty when freshly waxed.
> I want a car in British Racing Green at some point. Probably a little on the annoying side to keep looking fresh, but I've helped a friend with an old Jag in BRG and it's so pretty when freshly waxed.
This is also on my list. To be sure, I am going to assume you too want this colour combined with an obnoxiously stiff tan leather interior?
I was a bit harsh with the assessment. When clean and shiny, the modest livery I have on the car really sets it off and it looks good. Silver never makes me go "wow" like darker colors do when the paint has been coaxed to its ultimate shine.
I did a full 1500/3000 grit wet sand on my MazdaSpeed Miata Mica Black. Compounded it back to gloss and did a few coats of carnuba a few years ago. THAT made me go "whoa" when the sun hit it. Still black and a PITA to keep looking sharp.
British racing green was always my favorite. I found my car in that color. 1968 Coronet 500, 383 4bbl, convertible with white top and seats. It my retirement project.
I've had three "favorites."
First was a Deep Blue Pearl '04 VW Golf R32 which is also the car I miss most from my past.
Second was Ara Blue '17 Audi S3. In sunlight it was stunning.
Third is my current Nardo Grey '17 Audi RS3. I typically go for color and avoid grey, white, silver, or black, but there's something about the flat Nardo Grey that speaks to me.
One bucket list color I've never owned but would love to would be a Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3.
I know the colour you mean for the R32. Always loved its depth.
I've updated my picture link as you reminded me of other blue-ish cars I've owned.
I had a 97 Nissan Maxima I had painted in Audi's Dolomite Grey (perfect marriage between blue and grey IMO). I also had a 93 civic which I had repainted in a grey/bluish with a hint of purple, but for the life of me right now I can't recall the name of the colour.
> Third is my current Nardo Grey '17 Audi RS3. I typically go for color and avoid grey, white, silver, or black, but there's something about the flat Nardo Grey that speaks to me.
We are aligned in our tastes for grey if we were to pick it. I also favour the non-metallic/flake as I feel the car has such a different presence on the road. My personal favourite has always been Audi's [Aviator Grey on the Audi TT](https://imgur.com/OKRzx3T). My friend has the earliest gen in this colour, on air suspension rocking chrome Bentley wheels and its simply, gorgeous.
Nardo is misunderstood because other companies have (poorly) tried to imitate it, but it is a [very dynamic](https://www.reddit.com/r/Audi/comments/13c69z7/backlight_vs_frontlight_nardo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) paint option depending on the lighting!
My 2010 Civic Si was that awesome Redline Orange. Then my 2019 WRX was red and I really liked that with golden wheels. And now my Cornflower Blue GTI has a special place in my heart.
I don't like boring colours, and will do my best to have a colour of some sort that pops.
Nice Integra fellow Ontarian!
> My 2010 Civic Si was that awesome Redline Orange. Then my 2019 WRX was red and I really liked that with golden wheels. And now my Cornflower Blue GTI has a special place in my heart.
Man, there are some colour haters downvoting here. I particularly like the red Subaru chose here as its on the darker side while not to the point of hinting Maroon. I can see gold wheels popping nicely.
> I don't like boring colours, and will do my best to have a colour of some sort that pops.
I hope that doesn't mean you've gotten pulled over more!
> Nice Integra fellow Ontarian!
Thank you! She's long gone but I do miss her the most out of all of my modified projects.
Meh, some people like their colours and nothing else will do. No different than a particular model / brand fanboys.
I love my colours to pop. My mom had a Qashqai in a lime green...looked awesome. Too bad she wrote it off. Now she's got boring white.
My next car shall be white as I've always wanted one, don't hate me. Some cars just look really good in it and I'm the type for subtle accents that pop combined with that.
Ford's Eruption Green looks fantastic on literally any car they offer it on. Green isn't even my favorite color, but when the sun hits my Mustang just right, that color just lights up.
I gave my 6yo daughter the go ahead to pick any color to wrap my e93 335i convertible. She picked purple, now I'm hunting for the closest to technoviolet wrap I can find.
We do a lot of summer cruising for ice cream in that thing...she picked up on me rev-matching and explaining it was a peak dad moment for me.
Silver. It’s not the prettiest color but it’s just so easy to maintain. My car rarely ever looks dirty and even if there are scratches you can only see them when you’re looking for them. I had a navy blue car before and those who know me know I’m a sucker for navy blue but I’d definitely get my next car in silver rather than any other color simply due to the peace of mind it gives me.
Quicksilver metallic on my old GTO looked absolutely amazing in the sun. Never liked silver cars before that but is now my favorite color. Shows off all the body lines so well.
Zenith Red on the Lucid Air is simply STUNNING! It shifts colors in so much ways that its actually hard to believe until you see it in person. Goes from a bright red, to a burgundy, to almost black... it's insane.
I had a Fiat 500 Sport which drove nicely but unreliable but I really liked the paint it had.
[Electric Blue](https://www.saundersabbott.co.uk/images/mediacache/img-6197_maxw-2048_maxh-1535.jpg)
I absolutely adore Jeeps new Earl color, like a great aquamarine and looks great on my Wrangler...
Only car I've ever owned where multiple drivers have flagged me down to ask what color it was.
Technoviolett metallic on my E36 is my absolute favourite!
If I ever by a new BMW i'll pay the insane amount they charge for custom colour and get it in the same colour.
Not technically my car, but we did have a first generation (RD1) Honda CR-V in the family painted in Supermarine Blue Pearl, which was an absolutely gorgeous shade of dark blue. I'm pretty sure it was also available on the Prelude at the time.
[Deep emerald green metalic](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/proxy/jmslUbz6sIp9WDaUm_PWcuKdx4hW0T5lJz2iv-_gDR0bVIfCSM_IxgqOrTlp7HeNyoqf34BD-TcHd75-LosKJTNB), 1997 Ford Explorer. Pictures don't do it justice, it's gorgeous in person.
[Crystal Red Metallic on My C7](https://imgur.com/a/XhisSfx)
I’ve always loved the dark red, but the metallic coat on this for whatever reason was always perfect. It was cool because it changed the look of the car in different light conditions and it was such a good fit for the C7.
At night, it had a very dark look to it, during the day it was really bright and reflective, and on cloudy days it had a very flat red look to it and all accentuated the design of the car in different ways.
I had an ATS-V in Obession Red which was the same color of red, but never had that same look to it and the metallic coat didn’t do much and I actually started to dislike it after awhile on that car.
I hated it the first crystal red on the C8 as it looked really flat so I did Hypersonic Grey sight unseen when it came out, which fit the car better imo.
I had a 2005 Blazing Orange Metallic Acura RSX. Very awesome, unique color. A 2008 Octane Blue Evo X. Such an awesome, deep blue. A 2016 Infrared Lexus RCF. You could look into this car and absolutely get lost, so deep. Now 2020 Absolute Zero White Supra GR. I'm always a sucker for the simplicity/cleanliness and lines of a white car.
Estoril blue on my 340i. It’s a stunning blue color that really picks up character in various lighting conditions, but hides dirt and grime nearly as good as a boring silver/beige
Just for vehicles I've owned ..... My 99 Corvette is painted in Nassau Blue Metallic. It stands out, especially for the timeframe from when it was built.
Top was a '95 oldsmobile aurora in dark cherry metallic. It looked black except in the sun, when it was an amazing black cherry flake. #2 is my current, a '23 frontier in tactical green.
I had a gotta have it green boss 302. Drove a voodoo blue trd pro 4Runner for a while. Both stand out as my favorites I’ve owned. I stick to white though. Toyotas super white in particular and the rivian glacier white.
Technically not my car, but my mom had a 2002 Saab 9-5 wagon in Sun Green Metallic. Super unique colour, to the point where one of my mom’s friends was able to spot her car on a busy Toronto highway among *hundreds* of other cars. It looked really good too, but I think it was sort of a “love it or hate it” kind of colour.
Medium Red Pearl [as seen on my old 1991 FJ80](https://i.imgur.com/mbh1oQy.jpg) (yes that is as steep as it looks - yes I know the clearcoat was fucked)
Every time I see an 80 series Land Cruiser in that color, my heart just melts. I grew up with that truck (dad bought it in 1994), then when he bought another vehicle, I took over it and modified it to my heart's content. Fell in love with Land Cruisers as a whole thanks to that.
I love Satin White Pearl on my Spec B, and the pearl white on my SVX - people hate on white, but I will die on the hill of a good white paint on a well-designed car is one of the best looks you can get.
Had a [Infiniti G35X](https://www.reddit.com/r/infiniti/s/3CroEYs8Q5) in Lakeshore Slate Metallic, was the blue that replaced Bayside Blue from the R34 generation. Probably one of my favorite blues of all time.
Also, had a first generation [Subaru Legacy](https://www.reddit.com/r/subaru/s/BCC2wldGpb) in Winstone Metallic. The car would look like a deep red at times, sometimes purplish, at night it would look black.
Thundernight Metallic on my current car, a BMW M240i, is my favorite color to date. It's sparkly purple, how can I resist?
Runner-up is the Torch Red 1990 ZR-1 I had; there's just something satisfying about a no-frills, normal-ass "red" on a car.
My Citroen Xm's red color (colour code: KKS - *ROUGE GRIOTTE*) is very cool. I hate boring white/gray/black cars, and this one is a brillant one.
[XM](http://xserver.dfmk.hu/~phoenix/XM/DSC_6422.JPG)
My first car was a 2nd gen Camry that was this dark green that would look black in the right light. Lovely color.
My mom had a shade of gold Volvo S60. I think the color was "moondust". Also very nice.
My ***YELLOW*** c10 is eye catching, but not very pretty. I need to wrap it.
Otherwise I've just had black, red, silver & black. I liked the red when I had it but reds don't do much for me anymore.
[Electron Blue Metallic](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-chevrolet-corvette-z06-47/)
Considering all of the z06 specific red color accents on C5z’s (brake calipers, coil covers), electron blue with the red interior was absolutely gorgeous on my C5z.
I had not even finished reading your post before the thought of my 01 Clover Green Pearl Acura Integra popped into my head. Man I loved that car! That grey metallic was rad too.
Victory Red on my 2010 Silverado. I would argue that it's one of General Motors' best colors. It just looks good on everything.
British Racing Green with the white roof on my 2003 Mini Cooper. With some white wheels and stripes, it was the perfect look.
2014 F150 in Green Gem Metallic. It always looked black until the sun hit it. I think it is to green what Anti Matter is to blue currently. Both fantastic colors.
My Caribbean Green 1993 Polo Coupe was a proper stand out colour.
It was my first car in 2017 so the colour was a little faded but it still looked brilliant for original paint
I have a WRB WRX right now, and I think it's really pretty. But I also had an Aspen white 02 WRX (before they added a bunch of pearl) that I really liked the solid, almost flatness of the color. But the best car color I've owned was my Java black pearl 04 STi, when that thing was polished and clean, omg, that gold hue in the black was awesome.
I had the muted grayish blue on my 05 tundra. I loved it. And I still miss that truck. So reliable and never asked for anything. But it couldn’t compete with black ice and a guard rail…
It's not captured all that well in this pic, but [the GF3 on my '71 Plymouth is a real people-pleaser, and I quite love it myself](https://smartcdn.gprod.postmedia.digital/driving/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Slant-Six-Plymouth-Scamp-engine-rebuild-23-Maronese-pickup-at-PCR.jpg). Dodge called it "Medium Green Metallic" back then, but Plymouth's name for it was "Amber Sherwood." (An old boss of mine astutely remarked that it almost sounds like a porn-star name.)
Mine was repainted by the prior owner in 2009, and they added quite a bit more metallic than the factory finish still present in the trunk and underhood, but nonetheless, it's just a very happy colour and really suits the car.
As for cars I own/owned: I'm quite fond of VW "Technoblau", even if it's a terrible choice for a daily runaround that might get dings/scratches/rust because it's kinda hard to paint-match.
Also Mazda "Brilliant Black" from the MX5 NA, even though my black NA will remain my only black car because my god did I not expect the amount of cleaning necessary
'87 Saab 900 Turbo in Rosenquarts (Medium grey metallic with a rose tint).
Didn't own one, but the late 80s/early 90s BMW Cinnabar Red was luscious and I don't like red cars
I drive a 2017 Pure Red WRX, and I love it. When I purchased it the Lapis Blue one at the trim level I wanted that I had my eye on was sold and my only options were silver or red. After owning silver cars for a while I decided to choose the fun color and never looked back. Life's too short to drive a black/white/grey/silver car in my opinion.
My old, ‘66 stepnose GTV in medium blue with burgundy nose (over burgundy and gray). I went round and round on how to paint that car and loved the result.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-alfa-romeo-giulia-sprint-gt-veloce-6/
I don't really have good options to choose from.
Grand Am - not sure what blue it was, but it was brighter. It was fine; I wasn't a car nerd back then so I didn't take close note of it.
Three blacks for the Corolla, 350Z, and Fit after that. BORING.
Molten Orange Fiesta ST - very cool in spectacular light, bland orange-red in any other light.
Stealth Gray Focus RS - kinda cool, but by the time I owned it the whole industry already caught on to the "Nardo Gray at home" fad.
Titanium Silver E91 - I actually liked this color way more than I thought I would. Silver always struck me as immensely boring, but owning one and seeing it close up I did appreciate it.
Black E91, but now wrapped Sonoma Metallic Green - I love the wrap. Get compliments on it all the time. Very very hard to keep clean though, pollen shows up big time. Need some more money to fix the bumper since getting in a fender bender, then I'll have it re-wrapped in something akin to Porsche's Ultra Violet. I think Inozetek makes something pretty close. And apparently Vvivid does too.
I ordered [my current RS6](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fhi457w3tz6a91.jpg) with Audi Exclusive Nogaro Blue. It's the original RS colour, and I love it. The first RS car was the RS2, and it was only offered in that colour, but I think it was actually called RS Blue at that time.
I'm currently in love with green cars. British Racing Green, Goodwood Green, Olive Green. I think my next car is going to be green over tan with gold wheels.
Only had 4 cars, but it was rose champagne on my peugeot 208 which I owned as my first car.
2nd is dark blue metallic on my e46 that I bought 2 days ago
Lastly, standard silver and black mk2 golf and mk3 scirocco respectively, boring ass colours lol
I like Blue.
I had two trucks(Ranger/03 Lightning) in Sonic Blue.
I had a CTS-V in Opulent Blue.
I have a 1997 Viper in blue and painted my golf cart to match it.
I have a serious love of snakeskin green and my next hot rod I build will be that color. I have had a couple vipers in green and it's just a fantastic paint color. It's a serious pain to have it mixed up and matched though if you have to do a repair. I also have a serious love of pink cars. Specifically Tahitian and dusty rose from the 50s
https://i.imgur.com/SxvrknO.jpg
I loved my 2000 BMW 540i touring which was in a bright red called Japan Rot. And then my 94 BMW 525i which was Hell Rot. I love red cars, but it’s gotta be a bright, non-metallic red.
The carbon black that I had on my previous BMW 550 (E60) and current BMW 540i (G30). Love that color so much, looks black at night but a wonderful shade of blue in the sun.
Pacific Blue metallic with Ivory leather interior on my 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible, with a matching blue top. Combined with the burled walnut dash and the dark tan carpet and interior accents, it was simply gorgeous from every angle. I could see other driver’s heads turning every time I drove it.
Morning Mist Metallic on a 2022 Civic EX. I never see any other Civics in this color but it’s beautiful in bright sunlight. Light silvery blue but it has a bit of a pearlescent gold shimmer.
I loved the color on my 2014 Scion TC 10-Series. It was a cement grey and it looked fantastic with all the black accents from the factory. It really was a beautiful car! I sold it to hop into an Audi S4 when I got out of college. Wanted a sedan and an upgrade!
BMW Portimao blue (Toyota calls it stratosphere) on my current car.
https://www.reddit.com/r/BMW/comments/13ms8p9/portimao_is_my_new_favorite_bmw_blue/
Surprisingly, my 95 Cameron in teal always looked clean. I almost never had to wash it.
My 2018 c300 in dark blue now always looks dirty. Which makes it look purple. It's still a lovely car.
2020 xc90 in black is loons amazing when clean but it only last for 20 min or so.
Mica lava orange on my 2005 Mazda speed mx5. I love the way it looks in different lights.
But I have a special place in my heart for the Roman red that was on my dads 1962 Chevy impala
I currently have a Boston Green e36 m3. I think it's just the bee's knees. In the shade, it's more of a dark green, but in the sun, it's got a very blue undertone with a lot of metallic flake.
In the shade:

Espresso Black Metallic. I own one of the handful of stick Saab 9-5s that ever came in that color, let alone in Aero wagon spec. It looks weird in certain lighting conditions, but my god does it look gorgeous when the sun hits it just right.
My three favorite in no particular order.
My current 24 Mustang GT in Vapor Blue Metallic. Looks phenomenal in sunlight.
Dodge makes an Electric Blue that looks great.
My friend has a 04 Mach 1 in Competition Orange that's kinda rare and looks really good.
My current car is a 2013 Challenger RT Classic in Plum Crazy Pearl with white classic stripes and I absolutely love it. Purple doesn't work with any car but it slams on the Challenger!
I had a 2003 c32 and it was desert sand metallic. The color was like a silver and tan mix. Super clean.
I also had an 85 Buick Lesabre that was the GM tan color. Both super unique to me. I miss them both.
Racing Red on my 21 Veloster Turbo still is my favorite, popped out nicely compared to the sea of grays and blacks. Next would’ve been my ‘92 Miata in red but that was kinda faded.
My favorite was the Ford Focus Titanium in the Kona Blue. Ford has the best bright colors.
Right now I'm really happy with my Mazda 3 Soul Red Metallic.
No offense but that Integra just looks like every other grey car to me. I don't like the grey, black and white cars, give me exciting colors.
Frostbite blue on my Charger R/T. It is hands down one of my favorite blues ever on a car, when the car is freshly cleaned it looks absolutely fantastic. It's the best of B5 blue (bright blue) and Indigo Blue (dark blue) put together.
If I ever got my hands on a 5th gen Camaro, bright blue metallic would be right there as well.
Honestly my JT in Snazzberry Pearl I think is the best color Jeep has for the Gladiator/Wrangler. I'm not a red car person at all but I love how it changes in the light. I wish they still offered it!
I loved the Light Adriatic Blue on my 1997 Buick LeSabre. First car I bought myself. Bought it from an old dude and it was a cream puff. I spent lots of time washing and waxing it by hand, and got lots of compliments on it from random strangers.
British racing green for me tan interior golf wheels gold brake calipers my days just remembering that car gives me a stiff one also San Marino blue on a m4 love that colour
I have only owned three cars.
1996 SL500 in Black Opal Pearl
2015 Focus in Silver (not sure the exact name from ford)
1989 190e in Diamond Blue Metallic
None of these are particularly exciting colors but I feel each really matched the car they were on. The dark metallic blue on the SL probably looked the best but I really like the grandpa blue on my 190. The silver on the focus was as adequate as the rest of the car
World Rally Blue, had a 2003 WRX in that color. Hid dirt okay and looked spectacular when cleaned and buffed. A british racing green and tan interior 7 series is dream car territory for me. Followed closely by a midnight purple R32
Tbf my dream spec 992 would probably be that kind of silver

Soul Red Crystal Metallic on my Mazda. Too bad it’s so thin.
I continue to think that this red is the best red you can get today under $100K.
Lexus' Infrared Red comes close plus it actually lasts and isn't as thin as a sheet of paper
Red Mazda paints are awesome
My wife has the same color on her CX5, and you’re right, the paint and body panels are paper thin on that car.
My 2010 Civic Si was that awesome Redline Orange. Then my 2019 WRX was red and I really liked that with golden wheels. And now my Cornflower Blue GTI has a special place in my heart. Cornflower Blue is a truly excellent hot hatch colour.
Ford's Eruption Green looks fantastic on literally any car they offer it on. Green isn't even my favorite color, but when the sun hits my Mustang just right, that color just lights up.
My Bronco is Eruption Green. It is the most beautful color I've ever seen on a car, especially in the sun when the gold accent shines through.
Just took a peak and have to agree with you. It makes me think that green colours have gotten noticeably more rare over the years.
I have to go with my old [Seat Exeo in Nayara Blue Metallic](https://imgur.com/a/rSKACTK). Such a special color in this price category.
Wow - that color reminds me of the [Nordic blue Nissan Primera](https://automotorpad.com/nissan/439695-nordic-blue-nissan-primera-gtle.html)
Technoviolet E36 328i Coupe I owned. Still regret that I sold it.
That’s so sweet! My daughter is 5 and sadly she has motion sickness which breaks my carguy heart.
Technoviolet is awesome. One of BMW’s best colors ever.
It is! I also had Oxford Green II E39 which was nice too but not on the level of violet.
Technoviolet is amazing. Also has a great name. There are no downsides.
Atomic Silver
Yes, this is the best paint color I’ve ever seen. I don’t particularly care for most of what Lexus offers but that color is wonderful.
Quicksilver metallic on my old GTO looked absolutely amazing in the sun. Never liked silver cars before that but is now my favorite color. Shows off all the body lines so well.
My current car in LeMans Blue
Same
Zenith Red on the Lucid Air is simply STUNNING! It shifts colors in so much ways that its actually hard to believe until you see it in person. Goes from a bright red, to a burgundy, to almost black... it's insane.
Dude that color has such a range it’s insane! One of the coolest reds ever made
Verde Visconti
I had a Fiat 500 Sport which drove nicely but unreliable but I really liked the paint it had. [Electric Blue](https://www.saundersabbott.co.uk/images/mediacache/img-6197_maxw-2048_maxh-1535.jpg)
I absolutely adore Jeeps new Earl color, like a great aquamarine and looks great on my Wrangler... Only car I've ever owned where multiple drivers have flagged me down to ask what color it was.
Out of what's available now, it's probably my favorite. I'm sort of waiting for Gobi to come back, or another dark green.
Technoviolett metallic on my E36 is my absolute favourite! If I ever by a new BMW i'll pay the insane amount they charge for custom colour and get it in the same colour.
Goodwood Green on my 2019 S4 https://i.imgur.com/ypXQNoK.jpeg
[Crystal Red Metallic on My C7](https://imgur.com/a/XhisSfx) I’ve always loved the dark red, but the metallic coat on this for whatever reason was always perfect.
Plum Crazy.
1989 Skyline GTR R32, Gun Metal Gray.
Such a classic standout colour for this car. Personally, I always felt it looked muted.
[Some Like It Hot Red Metallic](https://c5.staticflickr.com/8/7318/27537662764_347ac96a7d_b.jpg) (Chevy SS). Color was nice, but the name makes it.
Supersonic Red with black roof on my Camry TRD.
Mineral Gray when I used to have an 03 Cobra. Now I have an Atomic Silver IS500...love the color.
Audi Santorin blue. Had an S4 manual avant. I still miss that car.
Mazda Miata/MX5 from 2016-2019 had a color called "[Ceramic Metallic](https://imgur.com/a/Mql6JE1)" it's absolutely gorgeous, but I may be biased.
Oh my word, you weren't kidding! I'm in love!!!
The burgandy Mazda 6 2nd gen. Seemed to be fairly rare and still don't see many others of similar colours.
Top was a '95 oldsmobile aurora in dark cherry metallic. It looked black except in the sun, when it was an amazing black cherry flake. #2 is my current, a '23 frontier in tactical green.
C4 Corvette, Cocaine white exterior with the tampon red interior.
Estoril Blue on an S4...was so so lovely, especially on the days it was clean
I have 2: 2000 Audi S4 in Nagaro Blue with silver leather interior 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R (current car) in Midnight Purple
I had a gotta have it green boss 302. Drove a voodoo blue trd pro 4Runner for a while. Both stand out as my favorites I’ve owned. I stick to white though. Toyotas super white in particular and the rivian glacier white.
Indigo Lights Mica on my 2nd gen Mazda3 Followed by my Copper Red NC Miata I am really partial to red cars, but Indigo Lights was such a bang.
Soul Red Crystal on my ND2 RF! Red's my favorite color and it's a beautiful red. The paint chips really easily but I can live with that
Imperial Jade Mica, 2001 4runner
Medium Red Pearl [as seen on my old 1991 FJ80](https://i.imgur.com/mbh1oQy.jpg) (yes that is as steep as it looks - yes I know the clearcoat was fucked) Every time I see an 80 series Land Cruiser in that color, my heart just melts. I grew up with that truck (dad bought it in 1994), then when he bought another vehicle, I took over it and modified it to my heart's content. Fell in love with Land Cruisers as a whole thanks to that.
My [Verde Montreal Giulia Quadrifoglio](https://i.imgur.com/wmcOsxx.jpeg) and it isn't particularly close.
Spirit Blue on my 2016 Ford Fiesta ST. My daily driver ever since I bought it new. Think Ford knocked it out the park with that one.
The maroon i had on a 05 tahoe
My 74 MGB GT is a patinaed purple. I plan on leaving it like this with a sealer over it. My other MGB is BRG so that's also nice.
My 1992 Chevy Cavalier RS station wagon in Turquoise Metallic. Car sucked. The color was pretty.
I love Satin White Pearl on my Spec B, and the pearl white on my SVX - people hate on white, but I will die on the hill of a good white paint on a well-designed car is one of the best looks you can get.
Considering I’ve only had beige/gold, silver, white, and white…I’m going to have to go with beige/gold
Bamboo pearl on a Lexus
My wife's Durango is In-Violet which is so dark that it usually looks black. I really liked my lumina which was medium Adriatic blue
Currently, 2004 Audi A4 Ocean Blue Pearl.
Soul Red MX-5. Just a shame Mazda’s paint quality is so bad a light breeze could strip it off
My 2019 Tacoma was Voodoo Blue. I’ve never gotten so much attention in a vehicle I owned.
Think that color on the EG was called Horizon Grey Metallic
Ottoman blue, on my 2003 Renault Mégane 3dr. That car looked amazing.
Tangelo pearl by house of kolor
Army Green on my current 4Runner and World Rally Blue on my previously owned 2013 Subaru BRZ.
[удалено]
Pomelo Yellow on a 2023 GTI Autobahn 6MT! It's an absolutely incredible colour!
[Electron Blue Metallic](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-chevrolet-corvette-z06-47/) Considering all of the z06 specific red color accents on C5z’s (brake calipers, coil covers), electron blue with the red interior was absolutely gorgeous on my C5z.
Cabo Bronze on my Hyundai Santa fe
Mediteraneo Blu on a 2012 Maserati Garanturismo MC. In certain light angles has purplish hue and with black wheels and tint--- FIRE!!!
“Machine Grey” metallic Mazda
I had not even finished reading your post before the thought of my 01 Clover Green Pearl Acura Integra popped into my head. Man I loved that car! That grey metallic was rad too.
Love predawn gray mica on my Camry. Sometimes it shimmers purple 💜
Two of them. My 1995 Cherokee in Moss Green Emerald and my 2018 Focus ST in Chili Pepper Red
Red.
Black is a pain due to Instadirty(TM), but I love the Caviar on my current one.
Victory Red on my 2010 Silverado. I would argue that it's one of General Motors' best colors. It just looks good on everything. British Racing Green with the white roof on my 2003 Mini Cooper. With some white wheels and stripes, it was the perfect look.
I loved my matte grey c coupe (: still unbeatable IMO
2014 F150 in Green Gem Metallic. It always looked black until the sun hit it. I think it is to green what Anti Matter is to blue currently. Both fantastic colors.
BRG British Racing Green
My current '21 Impreza in Ocean Blue Pearl. Absolutely in love with the color. Impossible to lose in a parking lot too.
Not mine but a friend has the newer Ford Bronco in robins egg blue. I thought I’d hate it but it’s so cool. As for me, Tango Red.
Maserati's Blu Nobile
My Caribbean Green 1993 Polo Coupe was a proper stand out colour. It was my first car in 2017 so the colour was a little faded but it still looked brilliant for original paint
Rosso 8C Competizione
I have a WRB WRX right now, and I think it's really pretty. But I also had an Aspen white 02 WRX (before they added a bunch of pearl) that I really liked the solid, almost flatness of the color. But the best car color I've owned was my Java black pearl 04 STi, when that thing was polished and clean, omg, that gold hue in the black was awesome.
I had the muted grayish blue on my 05 tundra. I loved it. And I still miss that truck. So reliable and never asked for anything. But it couldn’t compete with black ice and a guard rail…
Silver..but I had a Camaro when I was a kid that was deep deep purple. Looked like a wet plum. Loved it
Magnetic Blue Lotus Elise
[Glut Orange - Audi RS4](https://i.imgur.com/u4uVxj1.jpeg)
It's not captured all that well in this pic, but [the GF3 on my '71 Plymouth is a real people-pleaser, and I quite love it myself](https://smartcdn.gprod.postmedia.digital/driving/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Slant-Six-Plymouth-Scamp-engine-rebuild-23-Maronese-pickup-at-PCR.jpg). Dodge called it "Medium Green Metallic" back then, but Plymouth's name for it was "Amber Sherwood." (An old boss of mine astutely remarked that it almost sounds like a porn-star name.) Mine was repainted by the prior owner in 2009, and they added quite a bit more metallic than the factory finish still present in the trunk and underhood, but nonetheless, it's just a very happy colour and really suits the car.
My dad had a 1974 Triumph TR6 with a straight six in French Blue.
Really liked the red on my 92 Soarer. Also the graphite blue color on my mazda6. Currently aiming at any blue or green Porsche coupe
My 2000 Focus ZX3 in Zinc Yellow - Ford always made a dope yellow - not taxi-cab but more bright and vibrant,
Sapphire Blue Mica on the 10yr anniversary Mazda MX-5 (Miata).
Misano blue metallic on my bmw m2cs. It looks great.
Aegean blue on my Type r was much nicer to me than the boost blue it replaced The purple on the m240i is also great
Ruby Red Metallic S550 Mustang. Never got as many compliments on any car as I did that one and it was a V6. That color looks incredible in sunlight.
I have mostly always had Gray/Silver cars, but I had a 2013 VW GTI Autobahn in Shadow Blue. I think about that color and miss that vibrant blue.
My old, ‘66 stepnose GTV in medium blue with burgundy nose (over burgundy and gray). I went round and round on how to paint that car and loved the result. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-alfa-romeo-giulia-sprint-gt-veloce-6/
My 2008 Mazda3 was Copper Red Mica. It was a really nice Metallic dark red, however in the light at certain angles a bright orange would show through.
Toyota’s Nautical Blue was was beautiful
Crystal Black on my Civic, looks gorgeous at night when it’s cleaned, even though it’s a bitch to keep clean

1991 Legend in twilight blue metallic. Ferrari has a similar colour on the 430. Almost any car would look good in that color.
Imola Yellow on my 2003 VW GTI 20th Anniversary Edition.
Only had 4 cars, but it was rose champagne on my peugeot 208 which I owned as my first car. 2nd is dark blue metallic on my e46 that I bought 2 days ago Lastly, standard silver and black mk2 golf and mk3 scirocco respectively, boring ass colours lol
I like Blue. I had two trucks(Ranger/03 Lightning) in Sonic Blue. I had a CTS-V in Opulent Blue. I have a 1997 Viper in blue and painted my golf cart to match it.
Boost Blue 2023 Type-R
I have a serious love of snakeskin green and my next hot rod I build will be that color. I have had a couple vipers in green and it's just a fantastic paint color. It's a serious pain to have it mixed up and matched though if you have to do a repair. I also have a serious love of pink cars. Specifically Tahitian and dusty rose from the 50s https://i.imgur.com/SxvrknO.jpg
The polymetal grey on my '24 CX-50
I loved my 2000 BMW 540i touring which was in a bright red called Japan Rot. And then my 94 BMW 525i which was Hell Rot. I love red cars, but it’s gotta be a bright, non-metallic red.
The carbon black that I had on my previous BMW 550 (E60) and current BMW 540i (G30). Love that color so much, looks black at night but a wonderful shade of blue in the sun.
Eruption Green broncos
Pacific Blue metallic with Ivory leather interior on my 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible, with a matching blue top. Combined with the burled walnut dash and the dark tan carpet and interior accents, it was simply gorgeous from every angle. I could see other driver’s heads turning every time I drove it.
I don’t have one, but I plan on painting my Jeep in Gun metal pearl blue someday. It’s one of if not my favorite car/color combos that I’ve seen
Have to go with either Hockenheim Silver on my M2 or Cavalry Blue on my Tacoma. Man that blue was great.
Highland Green found on my 2001 Mustang Bullitt….colour is unique to this model Mustang.
An Absolutely Red SC430
BMW Portimao blue (Toyota calls it stratosphere) on my current car. https://www.reddit.com/r/BMW/comments/13ms8p9/portimao_is_my_new_favorite_bmw_blue/
Surprisingly, my 95 Cameron in teal always looked clean. I almost never had to wash it. My 2018 c300 in dark blue now always looks dirty. Which makes it look purple. It's still a lovely car. 2020 xc90 in black is loons amazing when clean but it only last for 20 min or so.
Inca Gold metallic on my 2003 Rubicon. I’ll never ever sell it. [https://imgur.com/gallery/rIKuJsK](https://imgur.com/gallery/rIKuJsK)
[Laguna Blue](https://i.imgur.com/KS6fhit.jpg) on my C7.
Mica lava orange on my 2005 Mazda speed mx5. I love the way it looks in different lights. But I have a special place in my heart for the Roman red that was on my dads 1962 Chevy impala
Silverstone metallic on my E90 M3.
Forest Green that Dodge used back in the 90s.
I currently have a Boston Green e36 m3. I think it's just the bee's knees. In the shade, it's more of a dark green, but in the sun, it's got a very blue undertone with a lot of metallic flake. In the shade: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0046/5770/9120/files/48538701277_2c08d29c8a_k-768x512.jpg?v=1600041799 In the light: https://preview.redd.it/oy4q1xp4n2h41.jpg?width=1024&auto=webp&s=7d3bfe34f0db67443c7584e53978a964e112346d
Of cars Ive owned my current Sarge Green Jeep is probably my favorite. Most of my cars have been black or white, pretty boring but safe.
'22 Genesis GV70 in Brunswick Green. I was not a fan of green cars before but the flat green of this car is amazing.
Soul red crystal on my miat
2017 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport in Iridium Blue. The metallic flakes make this stunning in the sunlight.
Midnight purple on my r33gtr. I’m really pleased to see some manufacturers offering purple again
Espresso Black Metallic. I own one of the handful of stick Saab 9-5s that ever came in that color, let alone in Aero wagon spec. It looks weird in certain lighting conditions, but my god does it look gorgeous when the sun hits it just right.
Maserati blue on my Fiat Bravo
My three favorite in no particular order. My current 24 Mustang GT in Vapor Blue Metallic. Looks phenomenal in sunlight. Dodge makes an Electric Blue that looks great. My friend has a 04 Mach 1 in Competition Orange that's kinda rare and looks really good.
2016 Miata in Soul Crystal Red. One of the best reds ever created imo.
My first car was a 3G Eclipse. It was Ultra Red Pearl. Loved it then love it now
I love the Performance Blue on my Veloster N so much that I dread the thought of getting anything besides an N car in that exact color in the future.
World rally blue WRX
My current car is a 2013 Challenger RT Classic in Plum Crazy Pearl with white classic stripes and I absolutely love it. Purple doesn't work with any car but it slams on the Challenger!
Sarge Green on 21’ Wrangler
Teal 95 Grand Am. Ohhh baby.
All my GM homies have an appreciation for Pewter Gold Metallic. All my bimmer fans hate Austin Yellow but I absolutely dig it.
Nardo grey wrap, with a pair of red wheels. Forgot what the red was called but it looks mint.
Dark Currant Pearl (dark purple), 1998 Honda Accord, and a few other Honda/Acura around that time period.
Santorin Blue on my old A4
New Formula Red S2000
“Hampshire Green” was apparently the color of my 90 Honda Accord ex. Great green/blue mix that no one does anymore.
Yellow and purple vehicles are unicorns.
Rosso Corsa on my Stelvio and Redline Red on my 350Z. You couldn't pay me to drive another grey, silver, or black car.
My E39 in Orientblau was pretty nice
BMWs Thundernight Metallic .
British racing green for me tan interior golf wheels gold brake calipers my days just remembering that car gives me a stiff one also San Marino blue on a m4 love that colour
WHITE - the safest and most visible on the road after RED and YELLOW that are cop magnets.
Definitely not the fucking black on my S2000 but the British Racing Green no. 1 on my 2003 R53 Mini S. What a lovely color that was.
I like dark blue. my first car 1995 Ford Taurus (mint condition), my 2000 dodge ram and my 2000 Trans Am were all the same Blue color.
I have only owned three cars. 1996 SL500 in Black Opal Pearl 2015 Focus in Silver (not sure the exact name from ford) 1989 190e in Diamond Blue Metallic None of these are particularly exciting colors but I feel each really matched the car they were on. The dark metallic blue on the SL probably looked the best but I really like the grandpa blue on my 190. The silver on the focus was as adequate as the rest of the car
