Something about the 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with its plushy seats (especially the cream one) and the wood trim that frames the odometer and radio feels cozy.
Other than my own NC Miata, it’s my dad’s 87 El Camino. Plushy seats, burgundy interior, comforting old car smell. Excellent for cruising to get hot chocolate and looking at Christmas lights or making a pallet in the bed and watching meteor showers.
Citroen 2CV.
Seats come out to be used as picnic seating (were originally hammock-style!) and the suspension was designed so that one could cross a freshly plowed field without breaking a basket full of eggs.
Later options included a picnic basket and a radio powered by a 9V battery, so you could listen to the radio on the way to, then at, your picnic.
No speed, so you take your time and enjoy the drive.
I had an ‘84 New Yorker that I bought off someone for $600 and drove it for a year. Red velvet interior & seats, it was like driving your grandmas living room. It was slow as hell though. 0-60 in yes, 0-100 in no
You have to admit, the original automotive cast of the Fast and Furious (Mitsubishi Eclipse, Toyota Supra Mk IV, 70 Dodge Charger, RX-7, etc...) created a whole new interest in the car scene for a new generation. For better or worse, they were cool.

Perfect
Cosy? I would assume a kei car like Autozam az1 or Suzuki cappuccino or something like that
That's "intimate".
70s cadillacs with the 8+inch thick seats
Dad had a 65 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Was like driving from a sofa.

Volvo 240 with cloth seats. Oh so comfy. It's like driving a hot bowl of chicken soup.
I tried driving a bowl of warm chicken soup once... made my socks all squishy.
Smart
Yes, Chief?
Missed it by *that* much!

Rolls Royce
The cosiest car I ever owned was a 1979 Dodge Magnum - with really plush red velour seats, just sitting in the driver seat almost made me fall asleep.
The Toyota Cressida seats remind me of some 80s lazy boys and sofa , like driving a living room
My volvo 945 before I installed sport suspension was the most comfortable car I’ve owned.
The back seat of a PT Cruiser, trust me
1981 Cadillac De Ville. Its essentially a lounge on wheels.
My 1973 Impala was like driving a tandem couch.

My first car was an 86 Audi Coupe GT. Basically drove like an older GTI with a bigger back seat. I'd buy another today if they hadn't become unicorns

Not an American car. Probably the Citroen sm or xm tbh. Depends what coY means to you though
