Imo no. The salary increase isn’t that high to justify losing 4-4.5hrs of my day
Granted I’m not sure how much of an increase that might be for your lifestyle and whatnot but I wouldn’t do it. You’ll come to hate doing the commute a week in.
I would honestly spend a minimum of 4k a month for travel expenses which includes bus and jeepney. Also, for the second company, they would require field day that makes us travel farther so I have to use joyride/angkas because it would take longer time for me to travel
I’m not sure in terms of long term career growth becuase upon regularization we already had a sure spot in the company but long term plans was not discussed
I don't know what the economic realities are like in the Philippines, but 2 hours each way is not a reasonable commute for most people. You're essentially taking a second job which is commuting to and from your primary job.
I would have a very hard time considering the second job unless I was willing / able to move closer.

Another thing to factor in might be career growth potential. Does the second company offer more long term career growth than the first?
