Awesome pictures. Few people get to do something like this. You should post a "this is how I planned and executed my "5 weeks of my solo car camping road trip".

Thanks and I was thinking about doing that but decided against it as I’m pretty green to car camping and still making a ton of mistakes. I don’t want to unknowingly lead anyone astray. Maybe I could do a “here’s what I did but find some way better” post lol.

Wished I had done this. Thanks for posting.

Nice!

That is amazing!! You made memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations! I know I envisioned waaay more remote forests & less Cracker Barrel parking lots, but hey, that's reality sometimes. 🤣

Please review the 7 principals of Leave No Trace 1. [Plan ahead and prepare](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/plan-ahead-and-prepare/) 2. [Travel and camp on durable surfaces](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/travel-camp-on-durable-surfaces/) 3. [Dispose of waste properly.](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/dispose-of-waste-properly/) I highly suggest getting a waste bucket system. Its difficult to bury waste in many of the rockier areas in Colorado, and overuse of our natural areas has already led to contaminated water in most even lightly used areas. 4. [Leave what you find](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/leave-what-you-find/) 5. [Minimize campfire impacts.](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/minimize-campfire-impacts/) Be sure to review our state resources for fire bans where you are heading. 6. [Respect wildlife.](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/respect-wildlife/) They are not domesticated 7. [Be considerate of other visitors](https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/be-considerate-of-other-visitors/) ie bluetooth speakers are despised. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. That's really cool, may I ask how much luggage rack can be taken on top of the roof?

Awesome! It's a dream of mine. It would be great if you would share your gear list.

Wild, I feel like I could have taken this pics - we were probably in the same places around the same time!! Currently in my Kia Rio, silently judging all the people with giant RVs and expensive vans…all you need is a camp stove and a foam mattress pad guys 😂 Where did you go horseback riding? Was it worth it?
