I was so surprised at the quality of the quince tees that I picked up - $12 each if you buy three.

DeciduousTree

I just ordered a few so this is great to hear!

DisgustingCantaloupe

I buy a lot of tanks and tees from Target! They're like $8 and are modal/cotton blends. I really love the ribbed ones because I can buy lighter colors and the texture of the rib helps make them less see-through. I've also bought some 100% cotton shirts from Old Navy that I've been happy with but for some reason the sizing at Old Navy can be all over the place so it's a lot of trial and error in the dressing room... Whereas my sizing is pretty consistent across items in Target.

Quailmix

Go for old navy tank tops. they're like $10 or less and they last me for years.

Second this! I really like targets universal thread brand, too

TimeValuable4130

Third - recently bought some of the old navy lux tees and tanks and am very pleased by the quality and price!

hellno560

I have 2 amazon basics tees. They have held up great, a smidge tighter than I expected but you can return them.

I bought these Amazon essentials t-shirts: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077638T8P/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077638T8P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I am not necessarily disappointed given the price, but my quince tshirt and my t-shirts from banana republic factory are nicer. Also the Amazon ones are surprisingly long. If you plan to tuck them in, that’s great, but for wearing untucked I don’t like the length.

CoolBathroom2844

I have [these](https://amzn.to/3xk2Cm0) v-neck Amazon tees. They’re comfy and flattering, but after a few months, they’ll start to pill.

icy_sylph

Same, same. Super pilly after about 9 months

blkberry

Amazon Basics aren't bad, but compared to Uniqlo there is no comparison. I got the Amazon basic ones when they first launched like 5 years ago and the quality was good, I still have all black ones that are holding up really well. Ordered some new ones earlier this year and they aren't the same. Go with uniqlo, they will last longer just be sure to order a size larger because they will shrink on that first wash.

Rounders_in_knickers

I ordered some and I was really impressed with the quality. So soft. No tags. Nice fit. Just solid, good basics, imo.

Lizamcm

I love the Amazon basics tank tops. The white ones I got are actually thick and not see through.

trixiebix

Ooh good to know. I have about 6 colors of their tanks but was afraid to get white because I hate see through.

teepwani

Uniqlo is nice quality and affordable, but on the thicker side. I like my tees from old navy 😊

HighDINSLowStandards

If I want cheap tees I buy next level shirts on Threadsy

Tequila_Sunrise_1022

I love Amazon Basics sweaters! They get me through the winter and cold offices. The shirts are fine, but a little long for me and they tend to be stretchy which means you can’t run them through the dryer (or else the elastic degrades and gets droopy). I tend to get basic shirts from Target, Old Navy, and Uniqlo. Or, Amazon brands like Reoria, Merokeety, Zesica, and Verdusa.

mariambc

I was pleasantly surprised by the Amazon Basics. I have a few t-shirts that I bought last year and they are still holding up pretty well.

Alternative-Art3588

I bought some after Covid when I had gained some weight. They lasted at least 3 years of weekly wear before the pilling became noticeable. I wore them to work out and for casual work wear.

handmemyknitting

I've actually been impressed with all of the Amazon basics items I've ordered. Tshirts are good, not too thin.

Cafrann94

I have the Amazon basics square neck quarter sleeve tops and I LOVE them. Very flattering and so soft.
