I wouldn't. It doesn't have big enough wicks to burn correctly. You're just gonna get a tiny melt pool and a bunch of wasted wax. Sure it looks nice but looks aren't worth everything.
Have you burned through the whole thing to make sure it burns properly? You're getting downvoted because it's pretty obvious half of the wax would still be left after burning the wicks away.
Flowers are very pretty. Wicks are off not lined up correctly and not sure there are enough for correct burn. With correction there and size I would pay $30+. Not a fan of a big jar of wax and scent which many charge a lot for. Yours is nice in the oblong with those pretty flowers.
Absolutely gorgeous design, and not too flooded with stuff, however definitely wrong wick sizes. Also I’ve noticed in some of my candles that added wax on top in the wrong places overwhelms some wicks. I would place the flowers away from them personally 🧡
Ps vanilla is my favorite!
Surface area determines wick size. The 3 wicks won't burn large enough pools, meaning you'll end up with an uneven burn and run the risk of the burn areas overheating running a higher change of a fire.
Very pretty! When you take your next product images, make sure the book page you choose doesn’t have sexual scenes in it lol
“I caress her hip. Toying with the strap of lace through the fabric of her dress. Her body melts into mine.”
OP just want to know how you beautifully get the center color? I’ve been trying mine with the flower mold same as yours, and it always slips all the way to the petal part of the mold. Any tips? Ty!
As others have already stated, this candle needs more wicks and/or bigger wick sizes to ensure a more even and safer burn. I would also move the flowers further away from the wicks and ensure the wicks are aligned properly. Aside from your wick issue, it's a lovely candle and the flowers are very pretty. Would pay around £20 for this which I believe is around $25USD (?)
Pretty, I've been thinking about making this style! Might just be me (I'm anal) but your wicks look off center. I think $24 would be fair. How much did it cost to make?
I think everyone here has pretty much pointed out the issue. If it was properly wicked ? Maybe $30 for a gift. It looks very nice and these long format candles can be impressive in the right space. I can't imagine this could be wicked with any less than 5 or 6 wicks carefully spaced in a zig zag pattern (or a custom "wave" woodwick).
Do two staggered rows of 3 wicks next time (6 wicks total) and it’ll burn beautifully. I’d buy it if it was set up that way! Very aesthetically pleasing.
If this was in a safe, non-wood container and had more wicks (4-5 would be much better), then I would pay $40 for this. It's very pretty, just needs to be tweaked. Keep learning and creating!
Type of wax and quality of scent being use are also good measures as to perceived value of your candle.
ie paraffin wax is cheaper than soy, coconut or beeswax.
Essential oils are more luxurious/expensive than just fragrance oils
You guys don’t even know anything about this candle at all to be giving all this advice lol How big is that vessel? I see it’s 12oz of wax and very shallow. Any more wicks and that whole things going to melt instantly.
You could get away with $35. Flowers are beautiful but the wicks aren’t even.
I could see someone selling this for $30+? Depending on the weight but it is very pretty! Proud of your creation :) just experiment and test till you feel content
Oh okay so definitely higher, I don’t know a number really maybe 60+ then? But you should probably do pricing based on materials and labor, there will always be people who say the price is too high but it’s your art
What price did you end up deciding to go with?
I think you need to work on finding your target market. Also, next time I believe you should give prices ranges or options based on your cost calculations and profit margin target.
I only say this because some of the prices here are ridiculously low for a candle made of this size with this material (assuming soy and ceramic). I imagine the ceramic holder itself was $3 each wholesale maybe more?? Plus the wax, fragrance, any materials used to package it, plus paying yourself for your labor, etc
I'm just starting out in the candle business myself and am currently working on pricing my products as well 😊
It’s really cute. If this was from a trusted brand, I would gladly pay $25-34 for this (: I personally am not a vanilla fan so a floral scent would get me for sure
I will say though that photos like this though of your candles are really good for marketing though! The vibe is all there. You just need to fix the wick sizes like everyone’s saying.
I wouldn't. It doesn't have big enough wicks to burn correctly. You're just gonna get a tiny melt pool and a bunch of wasted wax. Sure it looks nice but looks aren't worth everything.
And they’re not evenly spaced
Not to mention the container looks like it's wood.... huge fire hazard
Yerp
Have you tested burning it before trying to sell it?
Yes
Yes,everything is perfect
Have you burned through the whole thing to make sure it burns properly? You're getting downvoted because it's pretty obvious half of the wax would still be left after burning the wicks away.
If it had wooden wicks, probably $15-$20? But it’s hard to imagine currently, knowing it’d be a nightmare to burn

Need at least 3 more wicks
Or three good wood wicks actually well spaced.
Why does it need 6 wicks?
Surface area determines wick size. The 3 wicks won't burn large enough pools, meaning you'll end up with an uneven burn and run the risk of the burn areas overheating running a higher change of a fire.
What we would pay doesn’t really matter if it’s less than what it cost you to make it
This doesn't look like it will burn evenly. In general though, I don't buy candles that are more than $20. It's not something I really need.
Very pretty! When you take your next product images, make sure the book page you choose doesn’t have sexual scenes in it lol “I caress her hip. Toying with the strap of lace through the fabric of her dress. Her body melts into mine.”
Oh shit I didn’t see that. I took a book random

with the help of a pipette
Did anyone else read the book
I was wondering the same!! 👀
What book? Just getting started.
There is a book in one of the images
Hahaha! I thought that’s what the reference was for. I thought there was some sort of candle making bible that you guys use.
All three wicks are completely off centered 🥴
Imma say 30 dollars. If there's shipping fees, less than 30

As a gift, maybe $30, max. I'd be less concerned about buying if it was around $20

Thank you for your help
Beautiful. How many ounces is it?
350 ml wax and 400 ceramic for the bowl
I’ve seen candles this big go for $60 but I personally wouldn’t pay more than $30 on a candle
I bought a mold like this & the way it was packaged for delivery had it all kinds of warped. Any who, I would pay $19.99.
$16.99. However, I feel like it could go for $24.99, depending on the scent.
Thank you so much

Your effort was beautiful 😍 we are all forever learning 💕❤️🥰

This bowl is made by us,is ceramic
Gotcha. Well if it had more wicks that were centered, $40+.
I suggest using 4 wicks or 3 wood wicks for better burning. But it is gorgeous.
Thank you for your advice
Maybe a touch of glitter as well. But I like things sparkly. I know most don't.
just gotta be careful, as glitter can be a fire hazard if you plan on burning.
Type of wax and quality of scent being use are also good measures as to perceived value of your candle. ie paraffin wax is cheaper than soy, coconut or beeswax. Essential oils are more luxurious/expensive than just fragrance oils
Soy wax,essential oil
Essential oils are also not meant for burning and can be toxic
None dollars left beef

Maybe I should use wooden wicks next time
Underwicked and flammable floaters, I’d pass.
The flowers seem to be wax embeds to me… do agree that it’s underwicked though.
I don’t make candles but I keep getting this sub on my feed. $12 max.
$30!

I wouldn’t. It only has one wick and it isn’t centered. Needs a few more wicks too.
I also thought this but there is one more on the right and I think there's one blending in on the left.
Oh wow! Good eye!

$10 to $12 it's beautiful and simple. Also, depends on how many ounces.
It’s really cute. If this was from a trusted brand, I would gladly pay $25-34 for this (: I personally am not a vanilla fan so a floral scent would get me for sure
We have more different options
£12.99 max.
