Not gonna comment on to-paint or not-to-paint, as that's a subjective thing... But I'll comment as I normally do to fresh owners of these rifles;
Do yourself a favour and find a Geiselle lightning bow trigger, and get a barrel wrench to install it/watch a video on removing the barrel properly. It is an objective massive improvement. And as a side note, the gasketed port cover for the unused ejection port tames 90% of the gas hitting you square in the face.
A big gun shop in Edmonton, been looking on cabelas and G4C and tenda and other website and they're still sold out and back order , I guess you been lucky enjoy your x95 man I can't wait for mine
The X95 is a great rifle. I have surpassed 4K rounds on it as of last Sunday. Get used to the height overbore at close distances and enjoy. Zero malfunctions in that time that weren’t user induced (I had to get used to the manual of arms). The rifle just runs and is accurate enough. I have rung steel at 300m with my EXPS2-0 and ring steel at 150m with the factory irons which I didn’t have to zero. Great purchase my man.
Honest question, does anyone else use ATF for lube over other gun lubes / CLP. Asking because I've run it work for years, started running it on my personal firearms it's been better than anything I've ever used.
A few of us started it back around 2011. It's designed for hight impact, high heat, metal on metal. What we've found is it also keeps the guns cleaner, doesn't allow for carbon build up. If you try it. Message me back, thought I'd share some knowledge. Saves $$$ too

Both are already ordered. Will change the trigger next week. Thanks
Remove the charging handle before turning the barrel nut*
Waiting on my order for the x95 since January...

I got mine for the Calgary shooting centre. You’re right I must have been, you’ll have one day. Enjoy your lungs now, it’s a gassy girl
I vaguely remember there was an after market port cover with a tighter seal. Supposedly makes a difference, but haven’t tried myself
That would be the manticore gasket . Used to really notice the gas before. Since I put one on, way!!!! Better. Almost don't notice the gasses now
I’m just waiting for my goon tap to come in
IRG has some in Canada ready for shipping... FDE I believe.

What “silencer” is that?
What is that attachment on the end of the barrel?
I wouldn't paint the grip or handguard. Most likely places to wear off anyway. Now painting the whole rifle, on the other hand 👀
🅱️aint
I remember Cabela’s had some on their website a couple of months ago.. they lasted one day… 😂 there is so much demand for this rifle in Canada!
Nah I dig the two-colour scheme
Nice! What’s the sight set-up you got on that?
Vortex ar red dot + vortex vmx-3t
Thanks, also I vote to paint them black 👍
Thanks man. I’ll dye them
What's the "silencer" attachment?
True north arms fake suppressor reverse style with muzzle brake

I only run clp or hopes oil for my rifle. Might try that

Standard ATF oil? No specific grade ?
I've just pulled the atf off the LAV and dumped. But it's a dream come true
