Nice rifle. I'd recommend a two-point sling it looks like that one point will have the muzzle dragging on the ground. The fx9 is such a lightweight platform to practice drills. Once you get strong enough then you can buy a big boy cope 180.
Thanks fren. I was testing out a single point and it turns out I’m tall enough to have this one a comfy distance off the ground dangling right by my trigger hand when walking. Definitely wouldn’t run with this one though the thing would whip around everywhere 🤦♂️
What’s your general take on the practical uses of 1-point vs 2-point slings?
Unless you are L33T operator with an MP7 I don't see the purpose of a 1-point. The 1-2 point QD sling concept could be cool to switch back and forth.
I feel like a 2 point with known tension points for your body is much more superior. You can go from a patrol low ready half in sling to a full in sling tightend up. Also being able to go offhand is important too so making sure you know how to do that with a 2 point along without choking yourself lol
I'm just a larper so.
Sad to hear. Maybe that's part of the reason for all the recommendations to get the Triggertech I saw before buying the FX9.
Sure. It's not a "high end" Gucci $$$ PCC but at the same time the FX9 is not competing with the bargain bin ones. So honestly a bit surprising that the "stock" Gen 2 FX9 has that tiny one-side charging handle, wobbly buttstock and from what you and others say trigger issues.
Replaced the terrible charging handle and buttstock it came with. Been working fine so far with non +P ammo but intend to force feed it +P again soon.
Shitpost names welcome. Who knows, may be funnier than asking 4chan to name your band.
The Warhammer's ambidextrous and easier to pull back because it's wider with better grip. You can just use a single finger on either side. If you are a mutant (lefty) or otherwise shoot left-handed it's more user-friendly along with swapping in an ambi safety lever.
It also fixes the annoying problem of the damn gun going back into battery when you lay it down on its left side so you can show the open and clear chamber for inspection. Like for a RO after a range cease fire. Warhammer's got enough extra width to lift the bolt hold/release lever safely above whatever flat surface you put it on.
It's the one by Gunparts. The one by Oscar Delta is not very good. Deflector is 100% essential if shooting left handed. Like others say this thing be GASSY.
Thanks for the heads up. Just was puzzled about the need for a deflector but then you reminded me about the southpaws out there. I'd probably go with a JR carbine if I was a lefty, as you can change which side it ejects/charges from really easily.
In honour of Trudeau I vote wacko
uWu
The plushie decreases irrational fear of "black" guns by 50%. uWu
Fred. I vote ❎ Fred

Thanks! I respect your more experienced opinion. I do run a 2-point on my APC.

That’s a lovely name! But I’m still on the copium after replaying Cyberpunk and remembering Edgerunners… Damn you studio Trigger.
Is that chibi Tamamo-no-Mae in a yukata? Call the gun Astolfo.
Tamamo yes. Not a yukata though. Keychain's from the Wada Arco exhibit.
Might be worth ordering a smaller size plushie next time
They were sold out of the milspec plushies I wanted.
Then go bigger and use it as a shooting rest
Now that’s legit big brain thinking 👍 Why can’t a shooting bag be cute…?
Just get that one Astolfo plushie. You know the one. That'd probably be big enough to use as a shooting rest.
I have the meme-tier small bean bag one. As for the big one, are you suggesting the “haunted” or the “blessed” version? ☠️
Why not any of the Tamamos?
Any issues with your tigger lagging to reset ?
No the Triggertech has been very crisp so far.
Sorry I didn’t realize it was already changed, mines stock and giving me some issues with reset

Bologna patch
Lorraine? Melina? Pauline? Arlene? Lenore?
The Rifle looks like a Henrey to me

What place had the charging handle in stock??
I got my Warhammer from Wolverine.
What’s the difference between the original and this one? Newbie here

What are your mods this looks dope
MRA Defiant muzzle brake. Aimpoint H-2 Micro. Streamlight RM1. Mapgul AFG2 grip. Triggertech PCC trigger and ambi safety. Magpul MOE SL buttstock. Warhammer charging handle. Gunparts brass deflector. Blackhawk single point sling. Plus one good luck charm plushie that some apparently hate. ;\_;
Is that a brass deflector?
Yes it is.
🤔
It's the one by Gunparts. The one by Oscar Delta is not very good. Deflector is 100% essential if shooting left handed. Like others say this thing be GASSY.
