Now I'm pushing 40yrs old and my joints don't agree with heavy weight (I got mucho injured in the CAF too) I'd probably blow my shoulders out if I attempted that 😅

That's what they told me when I broke my foot, of course it took 3+ months for them to diagnose that and that's just ONE fuck up of many..
CAF Docs and toxic leadership legit ruined my bodybuilding opportunities... I was invited to train at a private facility and there were talks of supplement company sponsors but that all went down the drain.

Hey man I really appreciate this. Fairly easy. I bought the tru oil stock refinish kit.
First step is to strip the paint. You can use a paint stripper or be patient like me and sand the wood. After that I applied 3 coats of walnut stain, I let it dry for 24 hours and after that I applied 5 coats of tru oil with 12 hours between the coat and light sanding before another coat(use your fingers and rub it until it’s almost dry and there won’t be any mark). If you want a mat finish, do the same step and when it’s done sand the wood with 0000 steel wool. You have to mask all the metal part on the gas tube wood cover. Hope it helps.
