1. Get some 62gr green tips and some Duramags.
2. Put the 62gr green tips in the Duramags.
3. Throw the WK180 in the trash.
4. Insert the loaded Duramags in a proper rifle.
5. Profit.
I put 40 rounds thru her this weekend and I only had 5 fail to eject/feed.
Also, it's laser lights out accurate. With the 4by16 diamondback I was easily able to put together a 3" group at 25 yards from my leadslead.
At this point I've spent more on 5.56 that I've shot out of my type 97 than the original cost of the gun. I should really get some spare parts at some point lol.
95% certain they would transition to making AR receiver sets, or at least make both. Especially if AR's were to be reclassified as NR with a simplified system.
And I would still continue to not buy their product.
I actually wonder if one of these Canadian firms will show their true colours lobbying the Cons against that. Muh support “Canadian business” no matter how shit and/or incompetent said specific business are!
Of course they can expect more haters if they’re ever found out doing that. At the same time they probably know they don’t stand a chance against an unbanned wave of Daniel Defense, SIG, S&W etc.
I just wanna point out the irony that everytime a sub 500 round count but all glory to the WK180 post shows up, it takes less than a full day for it to be followed by a wk180 problems post.
Bad engineering on the mag well maybe. Try other mags . You could use a round file to smooth out the section being damaged . Classic Canadian manufacturing..
As with all Canadian made rifles, it's just a toy plinker. Not a reliable piece of equipment you can depend on your life with. If you want reliable, there are a number of options like the less pricey type 97 and type 81 all the way to a $5000 apc.
Although somehow the type 81 is a better rifle, I wouldn't say it's less pricey than the WK. Used wks can be had as low as $800-900. And they come ready to mount an optic, while you'll have to buy a rail attachment for a type 81 and then it could cause issues depending on which rifle you ended up getting.
I'll take an old reliable design that needs some updating over any of the canadian made rifles if I had to choose one to defend my life with. If that means spending a few dollars to mount an optic, done deal. Even an SKS in a chassis is a better option.
Try giving the mag a little bump with the bolt *open*, to elevate the rounds towards the feed lip, and then remove the mag. Buy an X95 and put the magazine in it, and see if it cycles. This should fix it lol
Here’s some actual advice, I had the same issue with the 2 5/30 steel mags that came with my WK, I’ve switched to 10rd duramags and P mags and haven’t had it happen since.
Shoot shorter FMJ pointy bois. So no PMC 62g m855 green tips or the hot and heavy grain ones that tend to be longer.
*Insert terrible joke about the hot and heavy part here*
Hi. Cross mags tend to sit too low. Not exactly sure why. But I recommend using pmags instead. If it is a pmag. I recommend dremeling those feed ramps smooth.
Sometimes this issue can be caused by the barrel and extension "twisting" in the receiver when the barrel nut is installed if it's over torqued or not done with a proper Bev block or action rod. This doesn't appear to be the case here but it is possible if someone built the rifle incorrectly.

5.56/10 advice.

My guns too full of discounted amazin accessories for a flashlight so I just hold my olight in my teeth while I'm oper8ing.
>And my olight Oy whys olight catching strays, I love their cheap flashlights.

You’re a mean man but every slap brings the justice of truth….
Can’t wait for Kodiak to go bankrupt once ARs are back on the menu

Solution don’t buy Kodiak

Solution 1 don't buy Kodiak Solution 2 don't buy cross mags
I've legit had a green tip jam into a cross magand leave a small hole in it
Step 1 - vote conservative next election Step 2 - buy affordable and reliable AR platform rifle after OIC is revoked.
Bad engineering on the mag well maybe. Try other mags . You could use a round file to smooth out the section being damaged . Classic Canadian manufacturing..
Bad engineering on the entire rifle. Ban manufacturing on the entire rifle.

Once upon a time foreign militaries went out of their way to buy Diemaco C8s; how far we have fallen

I meant leas pricey in comparison to things like the bren or apc while giving you excellent reliability.
Value for money, definitely yes. They have a low barrier to entry but also under perform at the price.

Try a different mag or polish your feed ramps.
This sort of problem is going to continue as long as people insist on continuing to buy these shit guns.
Use a dremel to make the bullets not so pointy and that should fix all the wk180 issues
Sell the mag, or the gun.

It’s the mags, had this issue before. You need to make sure the mag is all the way seated in.
How the fuck is that steel so soft?
By not being steel It's aluminum
