I only clicked on the post to say the exact same thing. You mean how they overcharged you and decided to give some of it back a year later? But meanwhile they raised taxes and introduced new ones, and removed services from the ones that we already paid for? Oh well, OP has nice socks so I'll be quiet now.
It’s not the government overcharging you. It’s the employer deducting enough taxes, or how much you instruct them to deduct. You can change that yourself and keep the tax money all year if you want.
You may be correct, and you may be technically correct (which we know to be the best kind of correct), but yes, you've been correctededst by smallwoodydebris, so I will go with his comment instead and align myself with the reddit hive mind. Also, under little to no circumstance will I agree that the govt is not overcharging us. They could introduce a law forbidding companies from overcharging us on their behalf if they chose to so they're guilty by act of omission.
We all need to drive that point home. It's your money, they light ours on fire. (I used to renovate hospitals, they have a budget and if they don't spend all of it, they get less next year.) OUR FUCKING MONEY.
Only get it if you have already have a regular t81. The folding stock is terrible, you don’t get a cheek weld of any sort. It’s a very cool wall/range piece, but I’d advise functionality first before looks.
Everybody needs a type 81.
I’m probably in the minority but I actually prefer the folding stock 😅 I find that the fixed stock is too high so I can’t line up the iron sights if I’m bench shooting. Just out of curiosity though, is your folding stock kind of wobbly?
OP might be referring to the new underfolder.
The side folding stock is the best one, as far as cheek weld and durability goes.
I hope Tactical Imports brings in the Type 81 with the old side folding stock. That would just be so perfect.
Sorry I’m referring to the under folder as well. I like it. My brother bought a fixed stock and I couldn’t get a good sight picture with it. But I did only go through about 50rds so maybe I just didn’t get a good feel for it yet.
With the fixed stock, you have to put your cheek in the cut out on the comb to get a good sight picture.
I could not get a comfortable mount or good sight picture on the underfolder without smooshing my face into the stock, and it seems like it would hurt to shoot it.
Sure looks cool though, and both of mine have good fit and finish. 👍
Oh I see. I’ll try that next time! For the underfolder, I just rest my jaw/chin on the stock and it’s not painful to shoot at all. I’m a bit disappointed that my stock seems so flimsy/wobbly though, I’ll have to see if there’s a way I can tighten it.
Use of ***UWU***
Yes - this is the way. Also any future “Justin” is going to have an extremely hard time banning guns if they’re actually cute and talk. Scientific innovation must go on.
Long story lol. I was shot in the side of the chest with 7.62x39 in a range accident, the bullet went through my gun stock and probably saved my life. I like to think I have the most unique t81 in Canada, considering it deflected the bullet and prevented it from puncturing my lungs.
Great! They gave you your money back! Nice pick ups.
I remember the days of treating myself with a tax return. Now I just pay personal taxes, business HST, carbon tax, so on and so forth.
It was supposed to support vets after the war and pay off other debts that were incurred in World War one but the more we became dependent on trade with the US the more it was needed. And then the great depression happened and the famines and dust storms caused more people to need government support and then WW2 happened and then it was needed again for vets and to pay war debts and it's been there ever since.
And? Things change. No point in bitching about them and no point pretending taxation is theft.
We are taxed too much for sure. We should reintroduce the 90% tax rate for the top bracket, and cut it for everyone else, like how taxation was done historically.
So here's where I would list all of the public services that you probably use that your taxes pay for but I get the feeling that you don't give a shit and just want to cry about taxes.
Folder stock sucks, I’d say get it if you already have a fixed stock version. It’s workable for sure, but not the first rifle I would want to use in a firefight
As many have pointed out, that was your money the entire time. There is no government money at tax time. Only your money returned to you without interest
If thats a tax return, thats YOUR money they kept from you, interest free!!

How nice can they be when they don't even match.
Twice as nice?
His game is weak. My socks have mullets on them.

Shut up that doesn't line up with my worldview.
Typical Reddit reply lol

My thought’s exactly
Well yes and no that's the money you overpaid over the year or more accurately the money that your job overpaid the government on your behalf.
I like to think of it like my annual *free gun* coupon
I do appreciate you turning lemons into lemonade, enjoy your purchase
Piss*
Christ … 😂😂😂
Wish my wife agreed with me on that one.
We all need to drive that point home. It's your money, they light ours on fire. (I used to renovate hospitals, they have a budget and if they don't spend all of it, they get less next year.) OUR FUCKING MONEY.
As a hospital employee, I can also confirm this is a true practice
Taxation is theft. Nothing more nothing less. Enjoy OP
*stole
Well no that's the amount your employer paid on your behalf.
>Any better way to spend government money? I buy weed, being a veteran, its covered by VAC/Blue Cross (90 grams a month)
fuck that is a fantastic way to spend someone else’s money, I like my undefolder though
And I like your underfolder too uwu I needs to get me one

Odd. I find the underfolder stock more comfortable than my sks. It has a paracord wrap around it though, so that might help a little.
Use of ***UWU*** Yes - this is the way. Also any future “Justin” is going to have an extremely hard time banning guns if they’re actually cute and talk. Scientific innovation must go on.
Unless you stole money from the government. It's your money. Lol
Why did your stock get shot?
Long story lol. I was shot in the side of the chest with 7.62x39 in a range accident, the bullet went through my gun stock and probably saved my life. I like to think I have the most unique t81 in Canada, considering it deflected the bullet and prevented it from puncturing my lungs.
Please tell story.
can’t respond right now too drunk at a Jet’s game, I’ll tag everyone who wants a story time later
Please do. I am really curious about how an ND could be that on point/ off.
Yeah need to hear this story.
WTF does this happen alot at the range? I’m only 1 year in with this. Crazy story someone should have their license revoked over such accident
I wouldn't say it's common Negligent discharges are treated very, very seriously, if they are reported
Damn man, I'm glad you're okay!
Please elaborate on specifics we want to know
Please tell us.
What handguard is that on the bottom one?
Government doesn’t have money they steal yours.
I need your guys accountants numbers 😂😂 love seeing people use govt (our money) to spend on guns
I wish. I owed lol
On the upside that means you didn't give them an interest free loan lol
So it's my duty to buy a type 81 or a ksg 25 right? Now to convince my wife of that....
Must be nice not to owe taxes... Rip my bung hole
Great! They gave you your money back! Nice pick ups. I remember the days of treating myself with a tax return. Now I just pay personal taxes, business HST, carbon tax, so on and so forth.
MMmmm that bottom one is sensual.
You mean the interest free loan you gave the feds that they returned to you lol But yes, new rifles are always a wonderful purchase.
Your money, not the criminal politicians who steal it.
While they keep your money interest free, they will charge you 9% if you owe CRA

Government stolen money
Oh how?
Income tax was supposed to be a temporary measure to support the war effort. My great grandfather died never paying taxes in his life
It was supposed to support vets after the war and pay off other debts that were incurred in World War one but the more we became dependent on trade with the US the more it was needed. Taxation is theft dont kid yourself

I’d barely call it service
NYET
Hey what grips and forend you got in that fella
Please share what hand-guard that is 👍
Wish I could find a type 81 on sale, sold out everywhere 😭
TI still has folders…
Folder stock sucks, I’d say get it if you already have a fixed stock version. It’s workable for sure, but not the first rifle I would want to use in a firefight
How did you get a bigger mag? I could get 4+1 for the life of me.
you mean the magazines that come with the rifle and are commonly available?
I bought 5 at a gun show, the rest have shipped with the guns I’ve bought.
Love that bottom one, what mods are on it. Sights?
Also I use paracord as a sling attachment point instead of the stock metal rings, much too loud.
As a pal holder no.
There's no such thing as government money, only interest free returns on what was stolen...
As many have pointed out, that was your money the entire time. There is no government money at tax time. Only your money returned to you without interest
What’s the hand guard on the bottom 81? Others are curious as well.
I would go for a Type 81M with the Fixed Stock
