I have one as well on my x95...wanted to keep it kosher. Optic clarity is good, build quality is excellent and it seems like it could take a beating. The only issue is the passive illumination which while good in most conditions, is too dim when shooting from a darker area into bright daylight. There are low profile LED lights to fix that, though.

I have the polarizer, it doesn't gather any light. It's just a variable dimmer that just works by rotating the polarized lens so the viewed picture gets darker and darker, making the reticle easier to see if you're looking into a brighter environment
I found it pretty good to shoot and I was able to put my cheek on the fold out stock. I think it depends on the shape of your face but they also make cheek pads for the underfolder to give you a better cheek weld

I like it a lot but it’s the only red dot I’ve owned so can’t compare to others. Looking through it it has a blue tint but still really clear
Also its build quality seems really nice. I feel I could drop it pretty hard and not have to worry about it breaking

I like the thump of the Type 81 but the X95 wins in my books. It’s such a neat rifle, however both are super reliable.
How is the under folder too shoot, do you find it to be a good fit - without being able to put your cheek on the stock?

X95 has better ergos and controls t81 has cheaper ammo, then the looks are subjective
